not only TM. today almost isp got connection issues to international links. i have digi 3g, p1, and also streamyx 4Mb. all get bad connection today.

NGN mar, merging all system to one IP based collaborated core system... and yet their NGN team staff appear at my Mac store today sight seeing...
I felt like taking the aluminum body macbook pro and slam their faces with it...

Yes, seems that since 12.10am this morning (now is 11.51, so it's still today) everything went into chaos. I got "disconnected" from servers so to speak. Just suddenly MSN went dead, a few streaming sites went dead, and certain international sites went dead too. After a while it was back, but much slower. My guess is sudden routing change.

I can understand if this happens on the 9th, 13th, 16th... but not on the last day 23rd! How stupid can they be, to finalize the upgrade on the last day, and screw everything up at the same time. As if they did nothing on the other dates..... Even if they cant give us good network experience, at least show that they have the brains to take care of their PR/Image and maybe put another date 26th maybe to account for any variable change/unwanted situations. They are really pushing the People to think that they are brainless as we all expect everything to be done on the 23rd and have no disruptions after that.

there are awful lot of packet losses :/

Hi all, can anyone help me here?

Currently I'm using friends P1 to online. 1 week ago, i upgrade thru some authorised dealer in LYN. No answer from them
if my location is able to upgrade. No information if any technician is coming or not.

Now my problem is that I can't even connect with my streamyx. The Downstream is not stable, keep going up and down.
Is there any problem with my modem or what?

I called tmnet and they say they will send technician over on friday (2 day ago) but no 1 came. Do I need the technician to come
so that I can connect back normally? or what can I do to connect to the internet? Or should I wait for the line to be ok?

Refer here. Yes you do need the technician to check the line quality to determine if thats the problem. Alternatively you can report to SKMM and CFM to get better response of your complaint (works better than TM's Call Center).

going to subscribe to this Streamyx 4mbps as soon as contract with P1 ends this 8th of Feb. Anything I need to know before subscribing?

You need to know that there will be 1 year contract and your location must able to support 4mbps package..
Technician will come and verify if your house can subscribe to 4mbps package..

i subscribe today for 4mb upgrade. My Belkin router give below details on noise margin in downstream as 23 and upstream as 21. out put power (124 dBm -downstream and 166dBm upstream)

Attenution(62 db -downstream and 27 db upstream).

is this line quality can support 4mb speed?? if not waht is the noise /attenution level to be maintained? is there any way to improve the line quality?

My Internet was down from 2.20pm yesterday afternoon until this morning. DSL can sync but not able to connect to authentication server.

Seems they "upgrade" their 100 number when called it ask that I enter my service number which returned that my internet service is down & will be fixed within 2 days luckily not the case after which I hang up didn't want to talk to cs.

I think they "upgrade" my area or something as I noticed I suddenly able to get into 218.111.22.xxx & 218.111.221.xxx range this morning, previously never able to get into either range before.

If you are 4Mb subscriber, you will get these premium IP (218.xxx).

Yeah I am 4mb user, and I am already on 218.111 range, what I was saying is I never receive 218.111.22 or 218.111.221 subnet before today. I previously only able to get into:

218.111.11 (very rare)
218.111.13
218.111.21
218.111.23
218.111.65
218.111.67

do not immediately request for the premium ip.. if u somehow wish to get a better speed which is by raising ur cap limit to 5120 and above, they will surely set ur ip to premium 1st.. same as mine when i subscribe to 4mb in the 1st week.. they didnt set mine to premium ip until i complained for a higher cap cuz im not getting the 80% best effort basis

hmm, ok still got question before i "sambung" my line to 4mbps from p1. if use Google DNS, the youtube and rapidshare throttling still there?

They seem to have done some "upgrade", I didn't noticed any of previous ranges I stated that I used to be able to get in but now below are new subnet range I am able to access.

218.111.22.XXX
218.111.18.XXX
218.111.221.XXX
218.208.251.XXX <---

Wasn't this 218.208.XXX.XXX range pulled previously? I remember used to able to get into 218.208.208 back when in 1MB package.
