After 4pm my internet totally died. Later when I came home at night damn hard to connect but when connected no data movement at all. I called them near 10pm took useless cs lvl 1 20-25 mins put me on hold to transfer my call to premier cs who took another 5 mins again put me on hold before telling me Penang facing outage and internet is down and that tech is currently repairing so no need write report. Yet their 100 voice recording never said anything regarding this when I called.

I tried again around 3 am still nothing, looks like its back right now.

axce.lan: Warranty lifetime? I was told 1 year warranty both at tm point and the tech who came over to set up 4mb line.

Question anybody from 218.111. went back into 115.13x? I just lost sync just now and suddenly back into the 115.13x range

-------

Just call 100, what I get is "TM wishes to inform its internet customers that you had network interruptions at certain areas of Klang valley. The service is in progress" after that I press for internet option I get line busy LOL.

Just confirmed with squall_12, also from Penang like me.

So any Penang 4mb users still in 218.111 right now?

My Internet was down from 2.20pm yesterday afternoon until this morning. DSL can sync but not able to connect to authentication server.

Seems they "upgrade" their 100 number when called it ask that I enter my service number which returned that my internet service is down & will be fixed within 2 days luckily not the case after which I hang up didn't want to talk to cs.

I think they "upgrade" my area or something as I noticed I suddenly able to get into 218.111.22.xxx & 218.111.221.xxx range this morning, previously never able to get into either range before.

Yeah I am 4mb user, and I am already on 218.111 range, what I was saying is I never receive 218.111.22 or 218.111.221 subnet before today. I previously only able to get into:

218.111.11 (very rare)
218.111.13
218.111.21
218.111.23
218.111.65
218.111.67

They seem to have done some "upgrade", I didn't noticed any of previous ranges I stated that I used to be able to get in but now below are new subnet range I am able to access.

218.111.22.XXX
218.111.18.XXX
218.111.221.XXX
218.208.251.XXX <---

Wasn't this 218.208.XXX.XXX range pulled previously? I remember used to able to get into 218.208.208 back when in 1MB package.

Anybody notice any dead ips these days? Seems for me at least 4 ip addresses seems to be dead, they have routing issue. Basically you can't browse, ping and etc. It seems to be going on for some time, I just complain (forgot to get complain number) ask them to get NOC to do something about it. They claim to know about it yet this is going on for sometime. Problem is evenings I usually keep getting these "dead" ips. It is frustrating to keep trying to disconnect & reconnect to try get different ips. No other ips within their range has any issues except these 4 that I noticed so far.

I find that if you do your own simple wiring of house phone line, get better phone lines (with lots of copper inside) will reduce Line Attentuation slightly.

Don't have Riger but the crappy TM modem (BIPAC 5112S) the tech gave me last time, shows very poor SNR Margin compare to Dlink DSL-520B. A difference of more than 10dB! Also it shows not so good Line Attenuation as well.

Nearly didn't get 4mb approval due to it if I didn't have another modem with me.

Is there any problems with my Atten?
Thanks.

I am asking since my friend told me cannot.

My line attenuation is worse than yours and I am surfing without issues.

You might be facing my issue, I noticed a group of "dead" ips here as well. If I get any of those ips I can't surf either.

They already know, Premier CS already got complains on them. I told them 2 weeks ago. I emailed today as well. Its being going on for at least a month. Some of the dead ips I noticed had no issues 2-3 months ago.

A question, the RM140 is from this month onwards right? When I checked the tmbill.tm.net.my it is showing RM160 for April.

I am trying to find out if there is an issue with new billing, I seen my online bill statement (tmbill.tm.net.my) for April still displaying RM160, I haven't received my physical bill yet.

Nope, only Blockbuster package.

Of course, it's possible that the people at TM Point were wrong, but I did ask several times and asked her to check with her colleagues to be absolutely certain (since in my experience everyone has a different answer at TM).

TM is offering new and existing 4Mbps Streamyx combo and non-combo customers a rate of RM140 a month effective immediately regardless of their location.

The news article never said we need to do anything. The new pricing should be in new billing, also it stated both combo & non combo. Why should I be forced into another 1 year contract period just to get the lower price range.
