Take not that sometimes there are other factors to consider which TMpoint staff can't confirm, example line quality, the exchange quality etc which can only be done by TM's technician. If its a simple 1 Mbps then yes, TMpoint staff can just upgrade it right away. However, 2 Mbps is a different case, even if its just an increase of 1 Mbps. Its their policy so you can't do much about it.must be a noob installer indeed..
Its standard procedure to check the line on-site by technician for the upgrade to be approved. The question is why the technician said its not supported. Is it the line quality, exchange or something else. Thats what you should be asking them.
