hey guys, i've stopped gym for almost 8 months but started back on Monday. I hit back to light weights just so that i don't stress myself and i went again on tuesday.

After 2 days of gym workout for bicep, chest, triceps and back, I CANT MOVE MY FOREARM AND HAND!! I have tremendous muscle sore that it aches whenever i move an inch!

Do i need to consult a doctor???? It really hurts ;( cry.gif cry.gif cry.gif

If the pain is in the joints then go see doc, if pain at the muscle then wait for a few days then it'll subside, if there's pain in the muscle with blueblack/bleeding in the muscle then go see doc.

Let your body recover first.

Perhaps you hit the weights too hard after a long while and your body wasn't used to that sort of bashing.

Alternatively, you could go light and do high rep sets to get the blood pumping into the muscles and help your muscles repair and adapt to resistance training before going heavy or doing that you normally did 8 months back.

Yes. That's right. Moderate weight, moderately high reps.

Yeahh you do.
Wanna make it worse? The front squats? Try pausing for 1 second at parallel before going all the way down, then pause again at parallel for 1 second, and then stand. I've a max FS of 160KG. Doing it this way, makes me stall at 135KG. And my quads feel like they're going to explode any second. Much harder than a normal ATG FS. However, make sure you keep your lumbar totally straight. I suggest using the clean grip and keep the grip really close so when it gets super tough, you can squeeze the bar harder and encourage more muscle recruitement.

One month doing exclusively high volume deadlifts and incline benches while consuming 3g of protein per kg of bodyweight really makes a difference! I spent 4 months on Rippetoe and about 2g/kg, and my chest did not bulk up like they did on this new routine.

You guys should try it. Tsatsouline's DeLorme-inspired 6-week hypertrophy cycle. And 3g/kg.

Dude... Pls, dont judge people because their body is so ripped and you have to say that they take steroid... come on... I bet if Noel can make his body as condition as people competing I bet every 1 gonna say he juice up..

The key to look bigger and massive is to be in a great condition.. Conditioning will make you look bigger than the weight you are...

Guys, what does body age indicates and how does it actually work? My gym just had a new digital scale and I took a measurement right after my workout today. I'm 20, but my body age is 30, which is really really bad, right? On what basis did they come up with such results? How do I reduce my body age?

The PT didn't know much about body age either, he said he didn't read the manual for the machine yet, so he didn't know how to interpret it. He looked older than me but he said his body age is 30 too... And he said my high body age could be due to lack of sleep. I admit I do lack sleep during the weekdays when I have classes, but the minimum amount of sleep I get on class days is 6 hrs. Very occasionally, 5 hrs. Not including the 1hr evening naps I take on most days... Not a drinker or smoker.

I tried googling and this is one of the pages I got...

http://www.mirror.co.uk/life-style/real-li...15875-19582824/

Damn...... Am I that stressed out?

Ok I just did the test in that link above and got 17.5....

Btw that guy in the vid above looks awesome.
