Sigh, went to a semi-ghetto gym in Penang with a masters BBer in charge there. He said my arms are good, then he said I don't need to ask you to remove your shirt, I know you chest are tiny. He's 60+ and he has bigger chest and a deeper cleavage than mine. Going there to let him train me tomorrow afternoon

QUOTE(diablokun @ Sep 6 2009, 11:01 PM) It's a member club thing, but I need to pay RM1 per entry, but it's OK because I'm only in Penang for 2 weeks, otherwise I'll need to pay RM100 for a month for the other newer gym with all USM students hogging the place. At least I have an experienced BBer there to train me.He told me to enter for some BB competition, but I said I'm too scared to enter, then he said 1st time join sure scared until your balls shrink, after that you'll know what to do liao...but with my small chest like what he said...I don't think I'm qualified on the stage at all. LOL. This post has been edited by Florian: Sep 7 2009, 12:20 AM |

QUOTE(livinginsin @ Sep 7 2009, 10:53 AM) ha..im the 1 that ask about this..thx and i agree with what u say..hmm..strength training..i think i need to do a little on this too.. coz all the while ive been focusing on getting 8 to 10 reps...hopefully strength training will stimulate more growth due to changes in training..ha..thx a lot. Cheap ones you can go to Priority Fitness at USM branch or Sungai Ara branch, ask for student price.hmm..btw..any1 notice how all the pros like branch warren or ronnie do flat dumbell press..their style is different than other ppl..i watch in youtube..should i follow how they do?? and during bench press if i am goin to stimulate more muscle tension do i need to lower the bar until it touches my chest? Added on September 7, 2009, 10:56 am hey..do u know where in penang got gym other than the celebrity in gurney?? i need to find out so i can workout when i go to penang... I'm going to Chinese Swimming Club gym coz I'm a member there. I'm not sure but I heard there's a super ghetto gym at the sukan belia complex near the army base and it's free I heard. There's also another gym at the building with the KFC at Batu Lanchang near the market, RM 50 per month. If you want the expensive high class ones you can go to Clark Hatch at Pulau Tikus but the payment is like RM1000+++ per year or something. |

QUOTE(livinginsin @ Sep 8 2009, 11:26 PM) is getting a pump that important?? I don't really understand what the others mean by the word pump, but I make sure that whatever muscles I'm working on in an exercise, I make sure that muscle really contract kao kao during the contracting phase before I relax it and contract again.well i personally don think that it is very very important..not everytime u go to train u experience a pump..but u do grow as well.. but im not sure whether a pump indicates more growth...any thoughts on that?? |

Went to gym, saw this guy with the same height as me and looks like Stan McQuay, spiky hair and styled facial hair, and he's huge...seeing him makes me feel so jealous inside.
How do you guys manage to tahan seeing people bigger than you? |

Here's another I was in the gym just now thing...
I was in the gym just now and I was on the bench doing DB shoulder presses facing the mirror, this guy came and stood very near beside and behind me and I could see him on the mirror, half way into my rep this guy grabbed his T shirt and flashed his abs towards the mirror. That's when I really understand how the ladies feel when they got flashed by some psycho person in public. Why people can't be humble and need to grab some attention out in the open? Why the gyms I go are always so happening? This post has been edited by Florian: Sep 10 2009, 12:49 AM |

QUOTE(mcbarney666 @ Sep 10 2009, 09:57 AM) I used to have that complex: everyone is better than me and look at me lifting 10kgs and shouting like a girl. Then, I realised, they didn't get to where they are by magic, they got there with hard work (and a little thing called genetics). So I worked and worked on my own physique and whilst I'm in the best shape of my life, I still consider myself somewhat intermediately built; better than most, crappy compared to the better ones. Get what I mean when I said why people can't be humble?I like your second paragraph the best. My legs aren't the biggest but they're, at the very most, solid-looking as compared to others. Though, my upper body still needs a lot of work to "beat" some of the guys at my gym. I guess doing chest and abs exclusively can do wonders for some. Shame about their ostrich-like legs, though... lol |

QUOTE(Kmaru @ Sep 18 2009, 03:25 PM) Dude... Pls, dont judge people because their body is so ripped and you have to say that they take steroid... come on... I bet if Noel can make his body as condition as people competing I bet every 1 gonna say he juice up.. Huh? I didn't even say he's on roids...I meant that I can't believe he manage to get that kind of a physique despite being natural. The key to look bigger and massive is to be in a great condition.. Conditioning will make you look bigger than the weight you are... I thought I share this video to inspire everyone here, mana tau kena hentam pula T_T |

Was 85kg the day before yesterday, had food poisoning yesterday and today I'm 81kg. Lost 4kg in 1 day. Just awesome. I think I lost mostly water weight because I don't notice any loss in size.
