QUOTE(pizzaboy @ Sep 3 2009, 01:34 PM) I'm not sure it's the same stretch as the pilates stretches. where? i think i missed itThis is a fascia stretch. In weightlifting, what we do is, static stretch our legs before our squat sessions, to encourage more recruitment of muscle fibers. Then after each set of squats, we stretch it as well. Whether or not it works, I don't know. But if you've seen the size of my legs, you'd think it works. @utuk utuk http://stronglifts.com/5-reasons-why-you-s...atic-stretches/ but i always do static stretches before heavy lifting. |

QUOTE(kotmj @ Oct 4 2009, 02:51 PM) i need you guys to inspire me to workout instead of washing my car dont be sturborn dude, chaging the program wont make you die.Added on October 4, 2009, 2:53 pmthe idea is to shock the body after the layoff and what is the reason to shock the body after layoff? your strength probably will drop after your long rest, so start lower weight don't be stone minded, scared of doing deadlift then lower the set or poundage. if your program is 5x8x100kg, do it like 5x5x100kg, or 3x8x100kg. do a lil change wont make your ball shink |

I don't want it to happen again. Google for it but i did you a favour. owed me a cup of whey! lol http://www.triggerpointbook.com/goutshin.htm |

1st you need to do is stop asking and do your study - understand what is compound stand for (not watching youtube, go and understand why do compound excercise?) (Link) or go www.bodybuilding.com, there is alot of useful jornal there. 2nd dig a big hole and bury all the machine excercie or isolate excercise, back to basic, learn how to do 5 big compound (Squat, Bench Press, Overhead press, Row, Deadlift) - stop telling you scare this scare that, start from low weight! know your limit. start from low and progressive increment of poundage instead of start with heavy and stucked under the bar or get yourself into hospital. 3rd- Fxxking do your study, i am now spoon feeding you, lai, open your mouth -go and see this link, it teach you how to do the 5 big compound http://stronglifts.com/stronglifts-5x5-beg...aining-program/ -Download the ebook here! read all before you ask anything http://stronglifts.com/stronglifts-5x5-ebook-download/ i don't know why i am so kind today |

QUOTE(pizzaboy @ Oct 13 2009, 10:10 AM) I foresee questions like; How how how? "What if I don't have squat rack?" "People say it's dangerous to squat" "I don't know how to squat" "Will I get shorter?" Also I've found the secret to improving dramatically in whether powerlifting, bodybuilding, weightlifting, strongman or any sport. Well it's not that secret, but I'm sure many don't know it. Ask me ask me! |

And he never once responds negatively or argue back with some sarcastic rhetorics despite all the sarcasm we throw at him. OK, he has passed H&F's brutal orientation. Perhaps we can afford him some respect (as another human being)? |

QUOTE(pizzaboy @ Oct 15 2009, 10:09 PM) any idea how to fix it myself?massage? i read somewhere there is a decompress of the lower back after heavy squat and deadlift. hanging from the bar like pull up, hold your breath for 5 s, and slowly breathing and release your muscle and hang it as long as you can up to 60s, but i can only manage for around 20s, using strap will hurt like hell |
