Vision turn black n white with bright dots = YOU ARE OVERLY EXHAUSTED. Not enuf oxygen getting into your brain. I had this before once when I pushed too hard in one of the GE30k race. Gotta just walk around and rest. Sitting down will be even worst.

maybe cud be under hydrate as the weather was rather humid and dry, eventhough we may not be consiously aware of it.
could be under mileage during training......as we usually stop 5 minutes at petronas. think gotta focus on building a solid foundation after this... but first off....2 weeks of rest for my legs.

Hey all, KOTR was pretty humid and hazy pretty satisfied with my run, didnt know it was going to be a such a hilly run in the first place! last 700 metres was bad with all the 11km runners clogging up the entire road! had to wade through them and the water fiasco, the 100 plus dudes were shouting for the people to get in line..funny
good to meet ccube and the others during the run!
Kinda shocked to hear about the news on Gary, I hope they'll find the cause of this death soon..
@marvinct bro, i realli doubt if the 5 minute stop affected us as sometimes I stop for more then 5 minutes and my race time turn out quite well.. wat abt weekdays? run often?
wats ur mileage weekly?
so i guess Gary has been found? but hw did he go missing? post mortem results?

pre scklm was running 3x10k session on weekdays. post scklm running 2x10km session on weekdays.
think maybe different body react differently? might also be due to my shin injury causing the exhaustion?

bro mana cukup, ur mileage per week shud hv been 40 -50 a week and that doesn't include speedwork/ hill work if wan to steady steady for marathon den its close to 60 -80 a week.. pros hit 100km ++ a week
and of coz tapering is important the week before the race or sometimes 2 -3weeks before the race.. i do suppose u can suka suka taper oso la.. coz its difficult to run like realli often..
u dun normally run hilly routes? but unless there were some changes to certain variables such as running style or distance (mebe u din train for this distance) shudn't hv blister mer..
Okay, I think it was my mistake also. Didn't train at all after the Siemens Run and then I go straight for the KOTR 22km. Maybe that's why.
