QUOTE(ccube @ Jul 22 2009, 02:13 PM) am not doing the morning run but will be meeting someone at 930am. which model u r looking at? if u need cushioning try the Triumph 6 (Voted Best Cushion Shoe by RunnersWorld for Spring 2009) I am high arch, neutral to mild supinator. Need cushinioning and stability weighing less than 12 oz in weight. width normal or 2e also can, depend on shoe model i suppose. is triumph 6 suitable for supinator? can try. think the green hornet is suitable for me? but colour This post has been edited by marvinct: Jul 22 2009, 06:30 PM |

QUOTE(ccube @ Jul 22 2009, 06:58 PM) yah the T6 is narrower than H10 T6 no other colour besides the green? heheheAdded on July 22, 2009, 7:05 pm The T6 is for neutral or supinator runner The Green is real striking, create more vibrant to the running scene. U get used to it brader. It got an Arch Lock so will locked up ur high arch comfortably Its a cushion shoe and weigh between 11oz-12oz (depend on size.....as reported US9 weigh 11oz) Width is Normal. U can try 1/2 size up if its too tight. Note: I have been using the Triumph series since T3. I hv a T4, T5 and shud be using T6 for the second 1/2 of the year till next year as a training shoe. This model have been my faithful training buddy. Fastwitch 3 will still be my race day shoe for its light weight and effectiveness i am thinking of tryin the T6, Jazz and Guide. or any other shoe you think might be suitable for me. can meet 9am? QUOTE(ccube @ Jul 28 2009, 09:33 PM) The KOTR vest is tight fitting. i took size L and ngam ngam for me. luckily didnt take size M. this is the original Adi ClimaCool vest, not those make locally. For once Adi is giving out ori vest like Sg mara. How come i was not asked to choose the shirt size when i registered? you choose the size when collecting or how? |

QUOTE(ccube @ Aug 1 2009, 11:03 AM) tested out the Adi KOTR vest for the 2nd time this morning on a 10k run. Chafing, chafing, chafing. The armpit opening is too tight and small, hence causes chafing. Not a good vest to use for long distance running (at least for me). the cutting is tight even though i go for Size L. wow. thanks for the info....lucky, otherwise i would have worn it tomorrow.collected my bib only today. but how come no timing chip at all? still using manual system? |

QUOTE(d3vilzzzz @ Aug 3 2009, 10:38 AM) heh googled up on shin splints. Apparently quite a common injury for runners.just need to rest and ice it up to prevent inflammation. if pain still persist after few days then only see doctor lo KOTR is my most exchaustive run to date. Felt like fainting after cross finish line. Vision turn black n white with bright dots... |

QUOTE(metalfreak @ Aug 3 2009, 11:02 AM) I kena last time too. Because I didnt land my heel properly to balance my bodyweight...too much pressure on the forefeet. Is too much pressure on forefeet the main reason?Rest well dude. i don't understand why i got it. I didnt change my running pattern, shoe or running surface. definitely didnt increase my milleage as well as i have reduced my milleage by a third since scklm. |

QUOTE(ccube @ Aug 3 2009, 06:11 PM) i am selling it for RM70, while Athletic Circle is selling it at RM79. yeah definitely over exhausted. wanted to queue for drinks but felt like passing out, so i just lie down on the padang.....after a 10 minutes only feel better.Added on August 3, 2009, 6:15 pm Vision turn black n white with bright dots = YOU ARE OVERLY EXHAUSTED. Not enuf oxygen getting into your brain. I had this before once when I pushed too hard in one of the GE30k race. Gotta just walk around and rest. Sitting down will be even worst. |

QUOTE(d3vilzzzz @ Aug 4 2009, 11:48 AM) bro mana cukup, ur mileage per week shud hv been 40 -50 a week pre scklm my lsd is 30k ma, so plus weekday 30k =60k lo. still under distance la, but my goal is to simply complete the distance without much difficulty only. not going for timing. if wan to steady steady for marathon den its close to 60 -80 a week.. pros hit 100km ++ a week and of coz tapering is important the week before the race or sometimes 2 -3weeks before the race.. i do suppose u can suka suka taper oso la.. coz its difficult to run like realli often.. now back to 40k per week should be comfortable for a half marathon rite? But now injured, have to recover first. This post has been edited by marvinct: Aug 4 2009, 12:18 PM |

QUOTE(ccube @ Aug 4 2009, 01:29 PM) Marvin, I going for PBIM, either half or full still undecided.Take ur time to rest and make a strong comeback for training. i shhud resume my training by next week or week after next. will clock in the miles again in preparation for my TNF 100k DUO, then PBIM and the FINALE will be the Putrajaya 12hr walk. I m not sure if there are any races in between but will always be good to do some races in between our training. Note: I m planning Gold Coast Mara in 2010. This will be early part of July. If u r keen, do let me know. Gold coast sound very interesting. I'll see how things pan out. Maybe depend on my GE30k timing next year. |
