Say if I buy the 3.0 OS, could it be possible to install on several iPod with just one purchase? Like we could on applications. I'm having 2 iPod at home and doesn't want to spend 20 bucks =)

i think its time for me to go back to 2.2.1 firmware .. most of my apps is not supported with this new 3.0.. so sad.

How COme? can u list out the software?

Weird. Most if not all the apps, even when they are not pegged with "Tested with 3.0", will work. Unless you did not sync them in legally or using cracked apps. People have been getting vacation for that recently, so.......

How come some of your apps cannot work with OS 3.0, elfreakz?

I installed the new firmware some days back and it is doing fine, paid USD 9.95 for it via iTunes Singapore... In fact, all my apps (from the very first one I downloaded until the latest, which is Tap Tap Revenge 2) can run perfectly on the 3.0 firmware... I'm a bit surprised as to why you are facing this problem, buddy...

not sure why some of u complain. but for me, all apps works for me, except some of them got glitchy, such as trism some apps i buy legally but some, ehem and plus, like sims3, in 2.2 keep crashes but in 3.0, it play like a charm for me

guys ignore my not working apps just now.. its working anyway eheheh.. my mistake. there's actually no problem at all.

hey guys, quick question, when you install OS 3.0, will your apps stay in the same place? not jail broken... so I have to arrange it into paid, free and utilities by hand =S takes ages cause have 8/9 pages.

Hei guys, 3.0 still not available on malaysia yet? get it from singapore indeed... tell you all 1 secret... i updated my ipod to 3.0 via singapore itunes store, and they just charge me for RM 3 sumthing + Rm3 Sumthing for registration only... did bill me the 9.95usd yet... any 1 of you try with singapore itunes? do they charge you 9.95usd?

Guys, can talk about casing or guard for the ipod touch? Im getting mine soon so currently stuck between getting BodyGuardz or just a screen protector with casing?? Can you guys give some suggestion as most of you all here have long experience with ipod touch

if u want ur unit to be the way it is without adding thickness, use BG.. or u dun mind slight thickness (depends on casing), can use sp + casing, but some might find it a bit fuss when taking out the unit from pockets bcoz the casing (silicone usually) can slip out of the ipod.

btw, i understand firmware 3.1 beta (build 7C97d) is in the progress.. perhaps this update will fix the bugs, lags, crashes in 3.0..

Hey all, 1G user reporting in here.

After updating to 3.0 I can't force quit any apps with the holding-down-the-home-button trick and it frequently runs out of memory because of this.

Does anyone know how to rectify this?

Also, my back plate is littered with hairline scratches, and I'm planning to go naked soon and do without the Speck SeeThru I'm using now.

Is it possible to change the back plate? If not, should I try the brushed aluminium trick?

Also, what skin should I get? I hear BSE and BodyGuardz are quite good... are they comparable to IS? If not, I'll settle for the safest option.

Im getting a hard casing instead of silicone, not a big fan of silicone as it collect dust and dirt easier. My plan was getting a mirror sp+a hard casing, but scare the back of the ipod touch will scratch as what PlayBoy suffered.

What you using futra? is it boomwave as I reminder I saw you post you ipod touch before. You live near Jitra? If got free time can teach me how to JB or not
