i think shake to shuffle not available in lockscreen mode
what i do is double press the home button and then shake it
lol another thing
what is the option in general setting there
have a home option which have 3 choices
home ipod and search

did u try ur headset with other mp3 jack?

dude ur ipod warranty will consider void if u sent to them with ur JBed touch
so what i suggest is go DFU mode and restore to firmware 3.0 without jb
then only send for warranty
