Actually, the games that are not listed as "Tested on iPhone 3.0" still works. It is just a matter of a "seal of compliance" to see that it has that listed in. I tried Let's Golf and other games as well while it not 3.0 approved and they still run.

IF you mean future games that uses 3.0 features like P2P Bluetooth head-to-head, then I agree wholeheartedly with you.

Not necessarily illegal, just frowned upon by people who couldn't get the deal for themselves. I'm pretty sure there's no direct legislature pertaining to situations like this making it an illegal act. Yea sure you could try and tack it onto some other law and say its covered under there, but it's a grey area that you can't immediately condemn or approve.

Also to anyone NOT on the Malaysian store, Lego Batman is one of the latest big price drops from 5 USD to .99 cent, unfortunately to those of us stuck in the Malaysian store... we're getting sidelined again cause it's not available here.
My point is, are there actually any benefits to staying in the Malaysian store? seems only like problem after problem for me...

Oh gosh, I think I might be the most problematic iPod Touch user ever!
Before this I've been using FW2.2.1 that's jailbroken and I've installed Categories on it. Then I've updated my iPod to OS 3.0. Now, all the apps are gone, even after syncing so many times! Wut to do?

as for the store, i just stay in the US store (OMG! is it ILLEGAL?!) cuz they have more choices and better deals. also sometimes in the iTunes store they have movies, songs, videos n audiobooks where u can download for free. I dled Audi's Truth in 24 from there, n it was a good documentary anyway (no, it was not leaked LOL, its still free). I had to pay US tax though is there a tax on the malaysian store?

i had the same problem. you can retrieve all your apps by installing categories back into your ipod touch, make new folders and they will appear inside categories.

what accessories are you talking about? the accessories are from third party companies so it really depends whether that particular product comes with warranty or not..

Hi guys ... last week my windows suddenly crash .. had to reformat .. no choice =/ Bad thing is i didn't do any backup whatsoever of my iTunes ..

Now that I want to charge my ipod, i just remembered if I just connect like that .. all my stuff in my ipod touch will be gone right ? How to like reverse the sync thing ? I don't want to lose all my apps man .. spent like 40 dollars ...

But not to worry, if i'm not mistaken, 1) When you sync, there will be an option to transfer your purchased app from the ipod to the computer if the app's not on the computer 2) If you log into itunes store using your itunes ID, I think you can redownload those apps for free, but the disadvantage is that the data from the apps are gone lah. Hope this helps. Do correct me if i'm mistaken.

no you won't. all app are tracked by your itunes id. so you can re-download it for free. the only problem is your game save files and all your settings are gone

ahh .. but i still have to re-download them back ? =/ ... what about music, videos and photos ?
