as for wifi and battery i didnt notice any difference. for bluetooth, cant test since i own the 1st gen touch. shake to shuffle is a nice touch . i have no use for spotlight at the moment, given the amount of stuff i have on the ipod (very little). copy&paste works flawlessly.

safari does feel a lil bit faster....but still no flash . other phones are going to have flash n AIR very soon now...

yes the 3.0 update was available for free, right there in the itunes ipod page, when it first came out. juz like then 2.0 first came out as well. i guess downloading that does not make it illegal since it's directly from apple. its not like i hacked into their database or anything. passing the firmware to other ppl is, of course, but im free of that (since everyone i know has the 2nd gen...i only downloaded the 1st gen ;p). is being honest meaning i need to pay for something i already own (i.e. didnt steal)?

and hey, i dont even jailbreak to download free apps. i might as well do that if i have that so called 'cheap' malaysian mentality.

1st gen ipod touch doesnt even have peer-to-peer bluetooth gaming lol ;p

as for the store, i just stay in the US store (OMG! is it ILLEGAL?!) cuz they have more choices and better deals. also sometimes in the iTunes store they have movies, songs, videos n audiobooks where u can download for free. I dled Audi's Truth in 24 from there, n it was a good documentary anyway (no, it was not leaked LOL, its still free). I had to pay US tax though is there a tax on the malaysian store?

u juz need the sellers bank account number n also need to know which bank he/she is using. it's also good to know their name too. u dun need a bank account to do it,juz need the cash.

for example if the person is using maybank, go find a maybank CASH DEPOSIT machine (not atm or cheque deposit). juz press any button n follow the instructions on the screen. u need to key in the sellers account num n then it will show the name of the account holder for you to double check. then there's this slot that will open up for u to put ur cash. juz put inside, let the machine count. sometimes the machine will reject notes (even perfectly good ones). juz try again until it does.

if the seller is using CIMB bank, find CIMB cash deposit machine...n so on. the procedures are pretty much the same

at the end u'll get a receipt. keep it safe n dun let ur parents see it
