iPod Touch 3.0, here I come! Woohoo!

Um, guys, why can't I update my ipod to the latest firmware? When I clicked on the check for update it says my current FW (2.2.1) is the latest. Currently using Mallaysian iTunes account. Anybody else facing this problem?

Oh gosh, I think I might be the most problematic iPod Touch user ever!
Before this I've been using FW2.2.1 that's jailbroken and I've installed Categories on it. Then I've updated my iPod to OS 3.0. Now, all the apps are gone, even after syncing so many times! Wut to do?

O snap! Ive just full restored my ipod. Now it's clean like a new ipod.
Oh well, i guess I'll just act like i got a new ipod then haha

Wow, kesian lah to u. But not to worry, if i'm not mistaken, 1) When you sync, there will be an option to transfer your purchased app from the ipod to the computer if the app's not on the computer 2) If you log into itunes store using your itunes ID, I think you can redownload those apps for free, but the disadvantage is that the data from the apps are gone lah. Hope this helps. Do correct me if i'm mistaken.

Hmmm, I'm experiening a really weird thing with my Miranda (that's my iPod Touch's name teehee). There's nothing happening when i connect it o my computer! Tested my usb port, it works fine with my thumdrive. Tested the usb cable, Miranda worked perfectly with my usb charger, so must be no problem with Miranda's USB port or the usb cable itself. So wut went wrong? Hmmm, so mysterious!

Hmmm, i'm currently using a Mac so i wont be able to do your ctrl-alt-del thingy. What I meant is that when I connect the iPod to my Mac nothing happened at all. Like, nothing. It just stayed the same way it is, no charging, iTunes didn't detect etc. But I don't think that it is a hardware prob cuz when I connected it to my charger it charges right up... Hmmm, cud it be the jailbreak that's doing this? My ipod is currently running iPod 3.0 jailbroken.

I kinda did notice a slight increase in speed, but not enough to shout about. For me, I think the most important feature is the Bluetooth, so, yeah, I feel that the $10 upgrade was worth it. Plus, you can future proof your iPod too. Just my opinion, completely up to you if you decide to upgrade or not.

Plus if you jailbreak can even send files too!

Just so you know, I have 89 apps and they are only 1.1GB large, so no worries there.
