Guys,
DO NOT SUPPORT GRAFFITI TOYS. A few days ago, they advertised TF DOTM Human Alliance Roadbuster @ RM112.50. I believe some forumers saw this too. I was also informed by one of them yesterday. SMS Jee to confirm and he said it is priced so. Went there and found out that it's sold in set of two with BB because "nobody wants it." So he can just cheat his customers like that? False advertisement. Very unethical. Never ever support Graffiti Toys @ Berjaya Times Square. (update: the post is now removed from the blog) I'd rather lose the RM3.00 I paid for parking and some petrol than paying RM225 and get cheated. |

QUOTE(snakees @ Nov 26 2011, 11:13 PM) Ya, Graffiti are notorious for packaging stuff here and there, trying to sell off their unwanted stock of Bumblebees and Mudflaps. If you're lucky enough to find two items you like then it's not that bad, but it rarely happens. I usually only go there for Star Wars stuff, and some of the older toys which are no longer found elsewhere like the ToyBiz Marvel figures and so on. I've been buying from them since they were PlayStation in Star Hill, and they've always been friendly, although their prices aren't as competitive as other places.Agree on the XL shop in Mid Valley - that guy with glasses is really unfriendly, and good luck if you want to ask him about anything. The BTS branch is really nice - the two guys there are chatty and helpful, although I was a bit upset when they told me to check the website "if it's not there we don't have it" when I asked them about the re-release of Figma Saber and Rider. When I went to the Ampang HQ today I was told that they had them, and they're sold out - apparently the website isn't accurate and I should join their Facebook group to get the latest updates. Ampang HQ service is pretty good - I think the lady there is the boss or something, but it's a horrible place to try and visit location-wise. BTS is still my favourite branch, although Empire's branch isn't bad either. The large guy manning the place there is also quite helpful - in fact sometimes he talks too much, but it's okay for me. I've always had good service from Time Machine, but when I go there I know that I expect to pay more than I would in XL shop for my stuff - I go there to look for stuff which other places no longer stock, and I've found some stuff there which I thought I'd never see. Their prices can also be quite competitive if you buy from their eBay account (although I'm not sure if it's still active). I did a search around KL for a Soul Of Chogokin Daltanious and their price beat Graffiti Toys, vHobby and that shop in AmCorp Mall (I think it was Ultimate - the one not on the top floor like the others that's closed most of the time I go there). Another shop I'd like to compliment on their service is the Toys R Us in KLCC - quite unexpected, really, but they're really friendly and seem to enjoy their toys, unlike some other shops I've come across. |

QUOTE(setsunaf @ Jan 7 2012, 11:56 AM) Ya, Plaza Berjaya. From Times Square, if you take the bridge across (the one which connects to the monorail) you'll go straight into Plaza Berjaya. Then you take the escalator one floor up, turn left and walk all the way to the end. |

Guys, i've got some questions here.
I want to buy 2 psp limited edition games that come with figma. The links are below: http://www.jlist.com/product/PRE901 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002QXMV4...&n=&s=&v=glance I want to ask, which shop in Klang Valley can help me order? I'm new to buying figures and these two would be my firsts.... I've sent email enquiry to XL-shop and am planning to go to their mid valley branch this Friday... but i just read from the above that the xl-shop branch at mid valley is not friendly and unhelpful, so any other recommendations that can help me? Thank you. |

QUOTE(roytomas8998 @ Nov 17 2011, 08:38 AM) hello. yeah, the shop owner can be trusted, but sometimes he is a bit annoying coz he wont let walk-in customer to check out his wares. Yeah, i understand since his shop is small, and not enough space 2 walk sometime coz of 2 many toys inside. and cant entertain so many ppl at one time. I had a really bad experience with Ultimate Toyshe only let pre-order customers come in, but how about others who are genuinely 1 2 buy something? he oledi lost my confidence. buy so many times buy from him, n never 1 2 give discount oso! there's always fake toys everywhere. BUT i'm not saying his Hot Toy fake ok? on the other hand, toy shops like 1toy, famitoy, toy wizard are good in terms of service n prices. good luck. during the time it happened way back in 2007/2008, I was still new and was into collecting starwars master replica lighsabers. I wanted to get a Qui-GOn jin Light saber. the shop attendant said it was quite hard to find since it was already past the pre-order stage but he said they might be able to get it for me. a deposit was made, and 2 weeks later I dropped by to inquire about it the item. still no news. weeks later still no news. when I dropped by again, he said he was unablee to get the item, so I decided to get the darth sidious light saber which was currently in pre=order. I also ordered the Darth Maul Force FX dual light saber. Another deposit was made. a month later, tried to call, no answer (I later found out the guy was in Singapore). the next week I dropped by (they don't seem to have the courtesy to call customers when the items arrive). saw a few Force FX light sabers and asked if mine was among them. The answer was yes but there were "problems" with the electronics so they had to be sent back to Master Replicas to be exchanged. Being the good guy that I am I didn't make a fuss. I just asked for the status for my pre-ordered darth sidious saber. still "processing". i kept dropping by 2 weeks at a time just to check up on them and kept getting the same reply. later on I got quite busy with work and wasn't able to simply drop by anytime so I tried calling them (even though past experiences taught me that the possibility of anyone answering was less then 0.001%). Every time I called, it was either engaged or no answer. When I finally was able drop by later on, the person that I used to deal with was replaced by someone else. asked them about my order, but kept getting dumb looks. So I asked to speak with the guy I was dealing with previously but was told he was in Singapore. They took my name and number again and said they would call me back. weeks, months down the road and no news. then they started closing their shop on weekends so I couldn't talk directly to anyone. trying to call them was just a waste of time since there was never an answer. to this day, still no news Nowadays, when I go to amcorp mall and see their shop all closed up, it makes me think back about the bad experience I had with them and makes me really fed-up. Wish I could give the owner a piece of my mind and get back the money I deposited but then, with shop always closed what can I do? The only person I have ever dealt with was a guy named Jeremy who said he and his partner were the owners. It's been years and I've never seen his face around Amcorp or PJ btw, I heard the glass for the shop was broken some time ago. maybe someone who had the same experience as me took matters into their own hands? a little extreme perhaps. but maybe what goes around, does comes around... Thanks kayubalak, rurushu
I think I have the receipt somewhere. most probably in my old wallet. will try to find it. but I'm not sure if they would even consider my complaint since it's been such a long time. they will definitely play the "Why come to us now? u should have came to us earlier" card. I also heard somewhere (i think it was in LYN forums) that the 2 owners parted ways and the one handling Ultimate Toys is the other partner. not the one I was dealing with. so if the story holds true, and they did part ways, I'm not sure if the current owner is willing to cover up for they other guys mistake/misconduct.The amount i paid also wasn't small since what I ordered was the 1:1 light saber and the both sides of the darth maul force FX sabre. roughly around 2k to 3k All in all, I will try to confront them with this matter. I'm just waiting for them to be open (they're ALWAYS closed whenever I go there). will be happy if any forumers here (who usually buy from them and have good relationship with them) could highlight this matter to them |

But the way Jeremy do his business, I'm amazed he is still running it coz he got ZERO ppl skills n he reli sucks!!! Is it so hard 2 do business tat u must show ur frowning face everytime a customer walks in? Does it hurt to be kind n courteous 2 others? If he cant do tat, then he might as well get the F!!@# out of this business. |
