no, they didn't ask me those questions. the lady asked for my address and ic number.
i was sceptical, so i asked her to read out the info that they have since she said i was chosen because i have an Maybank account.
she was reluctant, saying that the info is confidential.
in the end, she gave in and read out the details.

anyway, this is really weird for me as i thought u need to apply to get a CC, not the opposite.

just want to clarify whether my calculation is right or wrong

statement date = 13 each month

due date = 02 each month

current due = rm2992.95

if let say for this coming year i wont use the card anymore,and i would like to repay back rm2992.95 by 12 month b4 each month due date,
so is that the calculation will same as below

rm2992.95 + 18% = rm3531.68 / 12 = rm294.31

rm294.31 to pay each month b4 due date for 12 month

yes very diff... last year i tried citibank for 3 times, all rejected, uob 2 times rejected, only hsbc 1 time approved....

i'm working in sg, got all credit cards from all the banks in sg....

i had hold the hsbc 1 for one year in dec 08... i started applied uob, standardchartered now using my 1 year hsbc card... all approved.......

today went to 1u hsbc amanah do internet banking 1st time login. they give me a buy 1 free 1 starbucks voucher

I called MBB today and the CS says the MBB Petronas 5x Treatpoints promo has been extended till further notice.

I'm not convinced by this statement. No information available at M2U website. Anybody pumped after December 31?

How about cash rebate at Carrefour? Extended too?

yesterday when i was in Carrefour planning to buy some normal routine stock, i saw MBB CC counter there and i asked them whether the Carrefour cash rebate will be extended before go to buy n pay using MBB CC.

the promoter said, most likely MBB will be extend, just that memo not yet out...

later, i saw they all using Carrefour cash rebate as part of their strategy to attract customer.

im also got that Starbucks complimentary when im applied the HSBC Amanah "Generic" card. they din called it gold or classic o whatever, but "generic".

after tht, im asked the CS, beside the starbucks voucher, do your have any FREE Gift. then he replied said that islamic banking did not encourage free gift practice.

i hv no aeon credit card and i want to puchase somthing using aeon installment. should i apply for member first to proceed on transaction or i just simply need to fill in some form and pay extra fees and proceed the purchase?

ive read the brochure and it said for member i need to pay 1.2% o interest but for non-members need to pay 1.5% interest.

can i purchase it using aeon installment without apply for member. thnx..

Applied limit increase for CIMB CC, but it is rejected. Full payment every month, never late payment, CCRIS is clean, wonder why...

u dont have to become member to apply for easy payment.but i would suggest u to do so to entitle lower interest rate
