i'm eyeing the NP8662 model. haha hopefully, i'll have the finanacial capability to buy it in a few months time. it uses the New GeForce GTX 260M GPU.

i read online that it's more powerful than GF 9800M

has anyone bought NP8662 already? would like to see the benchmark

As far as I'm concern, Malaysia does not charge any tax for importing computer goods.

I second to what ni-c mentioned above. As far as i'm concerned, there will be no tax of whatsoever for laptop imported provided it is for personal use and in a single quantity at a time brows.gif . If u have the time, do go through our thread here as this issue was clearly clarified here=none of us here had paid/have to pay any tax of whatsoever for our laptop. thumbup.gif rclxms.gif

Actually, Sager or XoticPC representatives should set up a booth in this PC fair. I believe if they have a booth to sell Sager lappies, at least 100 units will be guaranteed sold during this fair... hahaha

Well even if they(xoticpc) do set up a booth in this PC fair without any permanent branch here in m'sia, i believe the laptop price will much more expensive than the price displayed on their website.

This is due to considering transportation(2 way), accomodation and misc costs involved for them to set up a temporary booth here and to bring over the laptops just for our pcfair not to mention other related issues like warranty and risk of uncertain market demand here.

Conclusion = not practical/not possible if they have yet to set up a permanent banch here in m'sia.

aaii...~~~ sweat.gif

...... still didn't get to buy a sager. Not that i couldn't get the budget but thinking it is company laptop so i couldn't risk the risk of not having a warranty here.

So i had to buy a brand that is Ok here in Malaysia. Bought a Asus N51 at the pc fair today. rolleyes.gif Hope one day will buy myself a great sager laptop in the future. flex.gif

At least consumers can feel the lappy, see their physical lappy with their own eyes before placing their orders rite?

well u forgot something, there is always both consumer and seller in a buy sell trade so your comment are bias only towards consumer and that ain't fair logically. The world aint revolving around a single person/party only so open up your mind and think before posting what's on your mind doh.gif tongue.gif .

Well all of us(sager owners who ordered from xoticpc) here can't see our laptops or feel it 'physically' before buying too, but in the end we still bought it right? Use your logic bro. thumbup.gif
