eugenefong: While I must say that you are really dumb to take up such a long distance without proper training, I must admit that I salute your bravery in taking up the challenge. I hope you can finish the run in your quickest time possible and also as less suffering possible. A word of advice is that since the route is rather unforgiving, do take things easy. Don't want to injure yourself with CNY around the corner. And as most of us says, 2009 is still young. Plenty of races coming. All the best!

All the best! hey ccube/phoenix, sorry perhaps i did not clarify myself. i never did a 20k EVENT but i tried a few times running around my house for 20k la.. sorry that gave u a wrong perception.yeah, the route is unforgiving and UNFORGETTABLE! its crazy, every hill i took i was hoping it to be the last. i'm just glad i did it within the qualifying time. hehe |

well done to all who ran the GE race be it 20k or 30k. the route was tough as i said coupled with the sun rising up so early in the morning. doesnt help much but made it tougher with the heat. but i believed we all survived and finished the race. as for me i came back with an expected timing which i was indeed happy about. pacing myself well was the main thing and also knowing the route before hand helps a lot.
