If not mistaken my mobo should be PCIe 2.0 just no CF or SLI functionality. Damn if need to change mobo again  sweat.gif

I'm currently using PSU Enermax FMA-II 460W 32A dual 12v rails. Was wondering if it's enough for HD4850 or HD4850X2? Hopefully i don't have to change PSU soon  sweat.gif

if u dun change also can... juz a suggestion... but for the PSU... i think that one need a change...

Are you sure? I thought requirement for HD4850 only 450W? Em actually what happen if i don't change the PSU? I'll get artifacts or something? Also, anyway to check my PCIe is v1.0 or v2.0? I check my mobo website on the specific model but it didn't mention PCIe 2.0 or 1.0 just PCI Express X16 slot.

most probably your com will reboot when your psu cant handle the load
imo your psu might only be able to support 4850, maybe a 4870 but i doubt 4850x2 can be supported
----------Edit------------
just checked on the ati certified list
if your psu model is FMA II DXX (EG465P-VE)
its able to support 4870 and 4850

Thanks alot Kytz. Then i guess it will not be enough for HD4850X2 then. Maybe i'll just grab myself a HD4850 or HD4870 at max. And probably change to another rig for higher end gc sweat.gif

My gosh RM1.4K for 4850X2? .. I buy 2 HD4850 CF also no need RM1.4K sweat.gif

Anyway not sure the pricing here in m'sia yet. If too high it won't be worth for X2.

the first one label as fan 0 in the profile and the second one is label 1,so make sure to change that one also:
