PCIe 1.1 and 2.0 differ not much,

but if you want to go for the best, go for 2.0

from the review, it seems
1) No need to do CCC modification for fan speed.
2) Better temperature at idle and load (maybe the review place is northpole? laugh.gif )
3) Overall pwn 9800GX2 (Maybe due to lower res benchmark?)

According to W1zzard guide at techpowerup forum,

we can re-flash bad bios by using PCI display card (PCI card as display, but it still will target ur Radeon card to be flash)

But with AA, it is impossible..

You need to remember that,

the upcoming(soon to be release) HD4870X2 is 2GB GDDR5 (1GB + 1GB, RM1850) and while current HD4870 is 512MB (RM910)

the upcoming 4870x2 1GB (512MB + 512MB) GDDR3 (a bit late than 4870X2 2GB) will be priced at RM14xx~RM16xx

no, powercolor card is one of the cheapest card at newegg...and seems to be cheap too at malaysia tongue.gif

the problem is..not many shop willing to take powercolor card, maybe due to distro<-->shop internal affairs tongue.gif
