ya..i found it too..on display..last time RM769 if i'm not mistaken..but the quality of picture i found out not so ok to me,maybe it is because 22" big big..but the design looks well,i like it..
The problem with judging the display like that is not very accurate, that is until you bring the unit home and test it yourself. Even mine looks so-so on the shop's display shelf, but after some adjustment back home looks way much better... Also many shops use VGA connection (often going thru VGA splitter) instead of DVI.

yup, I did that... it seems nVidia now has some tweaking tools too.. dunno what I did that day... after shutting down and turning it back on a few hours later, this is what I got...
windows boots up
windows desktop appears
screen goes blank with message "no DVI link" or "DVI not found" or something like that.
had to force reset a few times then got in to safe mode, roll back the drivers and things went back ok.

re-installed the new drivers and this time, I'm not touching any of the tweak settings.
Could be mobo issue... Quote from
Pinned: Bad Capacitors: Information and symptoms
QUOTE
As the capacitor ages, its capacitance decreases while its equivalent series resistance (ESR) increases. When this happens, the capacitors no longer adequately serve their purpose of filtering the direct current voltages on the motherboard, and system instability results. Some common symptoms are:
* Not turning on all the time; having to hit reset or try turning the computer on again
QUOTE
* In case of onboard video cards, unstable image in some video modes
Besides onboard video, I found it also happens to graphics cards as well, especially when the filter capacitor on the power rail to the graphics card is failing.

would your refresh rate at 60hz cause any issues? it shouldn't, right?
Nope... it ain't 60Hz issue.

even when I pause the AVI file (tv series or anime), the artifact is still moving.. downwards. It's mainly 'magenta' in color.
edit: added: could it be due to poor or bad video encoding?
Nopes.. when you pause, it should not be moving... If you are having that on almost every video file from different source, the it is definitely no poor video encoding issue.
