do you think so? i dont think so, if you can get the thing better with a better form, why you waste your time to do the wrong thing to get minimum result? if you are no intended to gain, then you may just go to gym to do something which you find it is comfort and easy and fulfill your mind, "yeah! i went to gym today, and i sweat alot, nice workout, i'm happy what i've done". then you may live with it 
isn't there are many kind of squat ?? maybe they prefer quarter squat instead of parallel or full squat ?? maybe they have knees injury or whatever who knows... ?? and what i meant by feel <> mind connection is as long you know what you're doing, then should be OK...it's nothing to do with comforts or easy thingy
