do you think so? i dont think so, if you can get the thing better with a better form, why you waste your time to do the wrong thing to get minimum result? if you are no intended to gain, then you may just go to gym to do something which you find it is comfort and easy and fulfill your mind, "yeah! i went to gym today, and i sweat alot, nice workout, i'm happy what i've done". then you may live with it smile.gif

isn't there are many kind of squat ?? maybe they prefer quarter squat instead of parallel or full squat ?? maybe they have knees injury or whatever who knows... ?? and what i meant by feel <> mind connection is as long you know what you're doing, then should be OK...it's nothing to do with comforts or easy thingy tongue.gif ....

Imagine lifting the weights off a bench press rack and skuttling into position due to the lack of a squat rack, like me.  sweat.gif

Bummz! That must really suck!

QUOTE(coolz_iced @ Apr 29 2009, 11:35 AM)
that rack squat, safety bar is to high.. that why i m afraid going heavy on squat. in case if failure unavoidable.
*
This is when learning how to chuck the weights can be useful. Not to say that it's a great idea to chuck weights ALL the time, especially in common gyms. But yeah, if you fail, you should be able to drop it and get out safe and sound. Looking at that floor though, it looks like it would crack if dropped.

Why can't gyms just buy powerracks? sad.gif

I've been told that deeper squats are safer for your knees. I've also met a lot of people who have knee injuries who are afraid of going low.

Keep your eyes looking up. Heads up as well
Go down a lil slower and stand up fast
Toes try pointing a little straighter. Yours seems to be pointing out a lil too far.

Also I noticed many people consciously move their bodies downwards when squatting. The weight is already there to do that, you just need to control the descent by slowly letting bit by bit of your muscles go down.

Hmm....this is probably one of those things that can't be taught....

not just afraid, but it hurts as well...

going lower with the correct form is safer to prevent knees injury said tom venuto and fred hatfield...but for ppl who already injured and in recovery process, quarter squat is a starter...

Yeah.
Like that day, I made a mistake while attempting max. Nasib baik Pizzaboy's coach was there to watch.

Went down too fast, didn't tighten abs, back & ass. Fxcking scary.
I don't think I'll attempt 1RM with squat without Pizzaboy's supervision. 3RM is safer. X^D

Hey pal, you might want to go easy on the calories already, BF is looking a little on the high side. I suggest getting the BF lower first. Search G-flux by John Berardi. Might help you

You don't need tummy tucks and all..

You just need to tighten those loose skin. Get some mass in and you are good to go.

PS: looking good, that is one heck of a leap from 120 to 84. Hats off mate .
