» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « So you mean cardio right after you wake up helped you a lot in shedding off fats ? I read a lot of those articles ... Some say it's catabolic, some say it burns more fats ...... This post has been edited by JustForFun: Dec 23 2008, 12:14 AM |

QUOTE(kanishen18 @ Dec 23 2008, 10:02 AM) Actually I read about that too. It's something about a research being done on the time of cardio at different time in a day. They found that it's best to do when you first wake up since you burn more fats. However there's also another saying that the body is already quite catabolic after you wake up from a long night sleep without consumption of food and if you were to force the body to work further = more muscle burnt ... Ahhh all these never ending myths.Oh do you workout the same day you cardio ? This post has been edited by JustForFun: Dec 23 2008, 12:10 PM |

Good read about fasted cardio : http://www.t-nation.com/free_online_articl...rdio_roundtable
Seems like fasted cardio is really catabolic, if you don't have a proper diet. HIIT is better in my opinion but there's no way I can do them in the same day I workout ( some catabolic and energy issues again ) ... Just looking for another alternatives to fat burning during workout day. This post has been edited by JustForFun: Dec 23 2008, 11:22 PM |

QUOTE(pizzaboy @ Apr 23 2009, 08:34 PM) There are bodytypes which are 100% of a particular type. Then there are those that aren't. Many people are actually a combination of 2 kinds. It's just a classification so to speak lah...I don't think he was talking crap. Really ? Actually last time when I was identifying my body type I came across some articles saying that it's very hard to find someone who's 100% of a body type, most people are combination of two or even three .... The one who's 100% of a body type is very rare to the extent that you can only find one in a million ?Somehow I wised that I was an ecto so that I have to take care of my diet so much .. Endo gains fat so fast but the speed is not the same in gaining muscle ... That's why it doesn't worth it. This post has been edited by JustForFun: Apr 23 2009, 09:11 PM |

You're 83 ? How tall are you ? Don't look like 83 in your avatar. You might as well save up the whey money for creatine

QUOTE(JonYeap @ Apr 24 2009, 11:19 PM) hmmm... icic... Probably will have to depend on body size since the rule of thumb ( g/lb )but isnt it a little wasteful on the whey proteins? how much does our body utilize actually? i am wondering if lets say u take 600grams while ur body is 200lbs. how much protein is used up by the body... i know different individual has different utilization rate, but wats the normal one? |

Arm day feels like hell .... You lose strength so fast then at first you may be able to do 100lbs dumbbell curls and when you're doing the third bicep exercise you can barely even lift 30lbs of weight ... I hate arms day, although you really feel like you're lifting something.

Was just giving an example to show the hyperbole ... I tried lifting 100lbs before and I managed to finish 2 reps but I was swaying my body like I was dancing or something so they don't count.
Yes I kinda agree with darkie but I can only say a perfectly strict form is impossible even if you're just lifting normal weights, normal training. Your body will still move a little bit ... Unless you're holding something really LIGHT you will surely shake a lil bit. |
