some of you had this problem a. hem. after checking all night, i think is fan. when i high load something, the fan spin faster, the noise is louder. if i pick up the laptop and shake it, the noise is gone.. doh.gif see hows it goes.

do you guys notice that after upgrade to new bios, when pressing the eject button and the pc will not lag again? rclxm9.gif thats a good news.
but after upgrading the bios, it brings me the sound. does some of you know where i can get back the M09 bios?

why it died? i dunno friend..out of the blue, it can no longer power on, even with the a/c connected, a common solution would be to reseat the RAM, which in most cases caused the symptom, but it still failed. anyway, u guys know the amount of probs i had with this....i dont think so the fan can cause the nit nit sound ler...some component in there producing that sound...

IMPORTANT NOTE/INFO !

For mobo replacement,

request for this new model - D057P Revision00 ( currently using this....no whine, no noise, no problem at all so far! ) RECOMMENDED !

previous mobo model - PU073 Revision00 - 04 batch ( known for the whine and other issue )

hope you guys find this useful. cheers!

just disassembly your system to check the motherboard label. remove your memory at the bottombased
then check there is a long serial number, like:

CN-0PU073-xxxxx-xxx-xxxx Rev A04
CN-0D057P-xxxxx-xxx-xxxx Rev A00

That seems like the symptoms of my lappie before it died. Time to call up and complain.
They'll probably give you a mobo replacement since the graphics is integrated.

Mine is D057F Rev00.
Btw, what whine sound do you mean cos so far other than the DVD and sometimes loud fan, I've experience no other sounds.
