what problem actually u had with this lappy?

no la dopod brother, i think i will skip it this time...am aiming for macbook pro...i just bid for one at ebay...54mins to know if i win or not...hope i do its tough getting a macbook pro at say around rm5K....they hold good value....i wonder if u've already got os x running...and is it reasonably fast, as in runs natively?

Anybody got problem with palm rest heating up.
Any way to measure whether the heat is abnormal?
So far, I can feel the heat but not too sure whether it is normal or abnormal.

by the way guys,
i can see my HD partitioned into two C (OS) and D (system backup).
My HDD capacity is 250GB.
As we know 1kb=1024 bytes, thus 250GB is actually about 244GB in actual , rite?
but I can only see my total capacity is 230GB.
Anybody can explain? 

i think the other extra goes to dell utilities/ diagnosis tool to examine ur pc as and when required.

btw, i just screwed my D partiton, my media direct only load inside windows

try to use PCRestore (pressing F8) but failed as i already screwed the mbr...huhu

end up reformating the whole thing. now almost finish.

1. Update driver for fingerprint from www.upek.com and audio from Dell website.
2. Run Windows Update

Ok..the WWAN card i bought from Hk and ask my friendt brought it back for me, brand is Expedite� EU870D PCI Express Mini Card , it cost me for RM 480, it's the same card that selling by dell overseas.

The hardware installation quite straight forward just plug in to the WWAN Slot connect the antenna and that's it. But for the software and driver installation is a bit tricky bcoz the driver that came with this card can't be use, I'm searching on the web for half a day then only found the suitable 1 but once I setup correctly everyting is working as expected.

Remeber last time I ask dell malaysia and they told me that our lappie cant use that becoz some antenna is not installed, some said the card not compatible with our network....and now we all know that they bullshitting us, our lappie can use WWAN card as long as it's unlocked..

seems like the m1330 has alot of defects and problems. given the chance to choose again, would the owner(s) of m1330 still choose this lappie? i was planning to get one unit soon thats why

That seems like the symptoms of my lappie before it died. Time to call up and complain.
They'll probably give you a mobo replacement since the graphics is integrated.
Mine is D057F Rev00.
Btw, what whine sound do you mean cos so far other than the DVD and sometimes loud fan, I've experience no other sounds.

yeah we could do that.. but apple market their product in such unique way that, macbook is like furniture... and not many brand carry that message... apple is kinda elite..i think

oh man, i read page by page , mostly its about the failure parts of XPS.
But still I wan to get this XPS. Man, i gonna order it next week in my friend house.. why nobody talk about the remote control of XPS? wat media button does it have?
