The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey Extended Edition (2012)

Hahaha!

At 183 minutes I believe it is about 18 minutes more compared to the movie version...

Basically there are songs added to the movie and also a few extended scenes...

Being a fanboy, I actually did enjoy this.

The kicker is, there are 2 Special Feature disc...

2!!!!

9 hours worth of of Special Features

9!!!!!!!

If you have not got the movie version and are a true fanboy.... GO FOR IT!!!!! laugh.gif

PQ and AQ is AMAZING!!!!

My Two Sen

I heard that the trailer for The Amazing Spiderman 2 and Christopher Nolan's Interstellar will be shown before the movie starts.

Tickets are selling already !!

Anyone remember where the new 3d HFR was showing ... was it all TGV and IMAX halls?

At tgv website, there's even a new option called 3D-X ... but only KLCC and non PJ places.... whats 3D-X ?

Here, from last year's post:

TGV

IMAX 3D: 24 fps
3D, 48 fps : KLCC, Sunway Pyramid, Bukit Tinggi, Tebrau City ,1Utama, SetiaWalk (Puchong), Wangsa Walk, Bukit Indah, Rawang (locations not mentioned, will screen in 24 fps)
Non 3D halls : 24 fps

GSC got only two places showing hfr 3D if I'm not mistaken, the gardens and pavilion

But not if they doing the same for this year or not hmm.gif

TGV said they will inform/update us on that through their website or fb page, soon.

GSC I'm not sure.

After watching "An Unexpected Journey" in IMAX 3D... and then second time in HFR 3D - - would no doubt want to watch Desolation in HFR 3D.

A little surprised that there isn't much news about HFR 3D. Need to book the tickets asap! tongue.gif Don't mind waiting a week after release just to be sure on what format I'll be watching in.

Dolby Atmos is available at GSC 1 Utama hall 3 right?

Hmm now I'm torn between watching it on Dolby Atmos at GSC or HFR 3D at TGV

So its Atmos + HFR 3d at GSC 1U? It's the one on hall 3 right?
Then definitely gonna catch it there.

Booked for Sunday at GSC 1U in HFR 3D + Atmos. It will be my first Atmos film.

Didn't know GSC had it. Was planning on watching at TGV for the sake of HFR 3D, now GSC has HFR 3D and then Atmos as well! biggrin.gif Should be an interesting experience.
