despite the hate from most of the people here, i find it quite pleasing although there are some unnecessary scene, probably too obssesed with all those magnificent background scene peter jackson's prop set up is just freaking top notch!

actually i think peter wanted to do silmarillion but due to copyright stuff so he forced to make the hobbit as 1 last middle-earth experience for the audience, damn imagine the story of Morgoth can be told on the silverscreen
