People are talking about the 48 frames per second technology that jackson used in the hobbit. He said the image quality is better, sharper and livelier. And you wont see the usual motion blur in movies. But some people dont like it too much. Saying the "magic of films" are gone.
Oh well gotta wait till december then. And i do hope that malaysian cinema operators can adopt to the 48fps movie, wouldnt want to miss that!

QUOTE(ray148 @ Aug 1 2012, 01:03 AM) Wait...do they resume shooting for a 3rd movie, or just edit the already done footage into 3 movies? They are going to shoot the third film, the 2 movies are in post production now

QUOTE(waeguk @ Dec 7 2013, 11:39 AM) Online booking is confusing ... there's no mention of 3D except for imax. So which is 2d or 3d ? [attachmentid=3757490] 3d-x is an updated version of the standard 3d

QUOTE(defaultname365 @ Dec 9 2013, 10:51 PM) Booked for Sunday at GSC 1U in HFR 3D + Atmos. It will be my first Atmos film. Didn't know GSC had it. Was planning on watching at TGV for the sake of HFR 3D, now GSC has HFR 3D and then Atmos as well! Should be an interesting experience. That's awesome I will have to wait till next week to make a booking, oh my can't wait to see the movie in HFR+atmos
