Tickets are selling already !!
Anyone remember where the new 3d HFR was showing ... was it all TGV and IMAX halls?
At tgv website, there's even a new option called 3D-X ... but only KLCC and non PJ places.... whats 3D-X ?

Online booking is confusing ... there's no mention of 3D except for imax. So which is 2d or 3d ?
QUOTE(Claire Farron @ Dec 7 2013, 11:07 AM) Here, from last year's post: But not if they doing the same for this year or not

Thought this movie was more fun than the first ... more action sequences. I like the elves fight scenes, fast and effective .. and cool

Haha not sure why everyone complained about smaug chasing the hobbit/dwarves.
Have you tried chasing after a rat or lizard in your house?
Compared with killing a whole nest, chasing after a few scattered pests is more difficult

I thought all halls in GSC and TGV have HFR if its 3D screening last year eg 1utama, gardens. Did they downgrade? QUOTE(Medufsaid @ Dec 17 2014, 05:51 PM) No cinemas in KL are giving HFR on opening last night, except pavilion. Last year even MBO shows HFR on opening night. Also, this year cannot watch Atmos/HFR 3D together in 1U anymore This post has been edited by waeguk: Dec 17 2014, 07:00 PM

TGV doesn't even say anything about HFR on their booking website until today. I always find them confusing with their standard/luxe/beanie/3Dx/Indulge categories QUOTE(Medufsaid @ Dec 18 2014, 12:01 PM) TGV has confirmed that their IMAX will be in 24fps. In fact they said this for the past two years already. I had the misfortune of watching it in IMAX during the first year. Then I rewatched it in HFR and never went back HFR seems to be messed up in arrangements for both GSC and TGV QUOTE(:3mushy:3 @ Dec 19 2014, 09:12 AM) Cathay e@Curve does not show it in HFR 3D this time I think many people are right that there isn't just enough sub plots to support the main plot (battle for the mountain), I guess we need to wait for 8 months to get the extended version on Bluray to see a more comprehensive storyline. However, the battles make it worthwhile to watch

Watched HFR 3D in pavilion hall 13 twin seats. Should have bought nearer to screen seats, for closer field of vision impact. Nevertheless, 48 fps effects are good as always, very nice to watch overall.
This time got english subtitles for elven or orc language, nice !
Good finale to the movie, glad PJ made it into 3 movies for a more appreciation of Bilbo's long adventure.
