QUOTE(guanteik @ Jan 7 2008, 07:19 AM) what is the reason behind? QUOTE(David83 @ Jan 7 2008, 07:43 AM) Aeon_Clock, what factors irritated you? well, I wouldn't really call it irritating...but I just feel that the options for redemption points are really useless to me. Yeah I don't spend much so I have less points to use. But I see other cards have 'nicer' things to redeem. And their cards are those free-for-life kind... QUOTE(WaCKy-Angel @ Jan 7 2008, 09:10 AM) Can have 2 Visa meh? Convert u mean? can't you have 2 Visas? I'm going to have an extra Mastercard soon (temp onli) and I'm pretty sure lots of people out there have more than one Master or Visa...

QUOTE(Aeon_Clock @ Jan 7 2008, 12:26 AM) is anyone here happy with Maybank Credit Cards? I'm not...I find other cards better...RHB, HSBC, Citibank...in fact, I just applied for RHB card today. I'm one of a happy MBB CC fan. Nothing personal, purely on MBB CC only and not their Cust. Serv, but I just feel the card, points and the places I spent, gives me good treatpoints. Also, the range of gifts are above average. Not that bad.

QUOTE(guanteik @ Jan 7 2008, 02:28 PM) what makes you interested in applying MBB AMEX since you have already a VISA? For MBB, AMEX offers double TP and there's points collection for petrol transaction. A good deal since my MBB Visa is my primary CC.

A good deal since my MBB Visa is my primary CC. last time i thought like you do... the 2XTP. BTW, imagine you apply for AMEX, u need to pay for the annual fee of RM60... if your TP from AMEX & VISA does not have enough for annual waiver, it's no difference with or without the AMEX.

yes, double or not...the annual fee for Amex kinda kills the benefits of the points. Btw, isn't the annual fee for Amex higher than RM60? According to their website...its minimum RM140 per year. http://www.maybank2u.com.my/site_functions...l?amexcharge#a2and question 4 says Amex has no free waiver... I'm apply MBB AMEX credit card and not charge card. The bank staff told me that it's free for first two years.
The annual fee is RM 60 per card and RM 90 for multiple cards.
