just want to ask if i take cash on call advance from my credit card provider(Hong Leong)...let say i take RM1000 ...the RM1000 is deduct from my credit limit of the card or not?
*
your credit limit take into account both retail purchases n cash advance.. but i suggest dont take too much cash advance.. unlike retail purchase.. the interest is charged starting the day you withdraw the cash.. same like amex.. on the other hand, there's also a fixed cash advance fee if you fund or make online transaction using moneybookers (linked to your cc).. Maybank charge RM 10.. dunno how much the charges for other banks..

basically, you need to get approval for this.

I would recommend HSBC Mastercard. Good customer service. You can enjoy many privileges with HSBC credit card, from shopping to dinning. The validity of the reward points is 3 years. Wider range of gift redemption, special point knockdown on certain items from time to time.

Maybank Mastercard is not bad too, but sometime customer careline very hard to get through. Point wise, so far I find CIMB and Maybank are having the widest range of gift redemption. Maybank also have many on-the-spot redemption center such as SenQ, etc. Best of all, Maybank treatpoints are never expires. Furthermore, the point mark-up is not too high. It is the best in the market.

Although CIMB has many choices for the gift redemption, but the points only valid for one year.

why must be Mastercard? I am having my HSBC Visa card... That time when i am applying, i also have hard time to decide which card to choose, visa or mastercard, but after i got the card and use it now and then... dun see any different for these two brand of cards yet.... haven't encountered any shop which does not accept visa card yet....

just now got HSBC telemarketer called to promote a hospitalisation plan.

i made a mistake by saying im free to talks, he so "pro". and keep telling me the good of the plan. doh.gif

the plan which give will u "pocket" money which you are hospitalised.
and you will get refund every 3 years for 30% of your premium. the cheque will be send to your mailing address.

i wanna to reject, but he keeps talks and talks....
finally, he just wish me good luck.
*
to handle such ppl....1st thing is to say no ....next thing is i already have insurance......end of story. so weird cc offering all these insurance, if it's FOC of course no prob la, but it's not. isn't it better to get another application solely for insurance only?

hie guys, wanna ask those who have a HSBC credit card (Premier holder would be a plus).

I'm going to purchase a Dell monitor through their website. Just found out that only Maybank and Citibank credit card holders can do 0% interest flexi payment. Is there any way i can split the payment of the monitor to 12 months using the HSBC card and what are the charges involved? Please help, am purchasing by tomorrow.

I think there is no HSBC credit card interest free on promotion for Dell at the moment. Anyway, i don't think there is any HSBC Premier customer that would do the flexi payment stuff because these people can easily afford to pay in full anytime. But of course, unless you are HSBC Premier customer because you have a loan of RM200K or more from HSBC instead of investment/FD of RM200K or more with HSBC.
