I've experienced this once, but i didnt go for it coz already got 2 card.. Nnt byk hutang woo.. may get default and go bankrupt!

try la with different bank.. one way another ur application might get approved somehow, unless u got bad credit history.. i once applied for citibank, got rejected probably coz i didnt pay celcom bill dat time.. then applied for maybank.. 3 weeks later got my card.. it depends la..

if u wish to apply loan, most banks will need the applicant be employed at least one year, then they may consider.. if you work private, then the requirements may get a bit extensive compared to those work with govt..

whether u need cc or loan, depends on your need ofcoz.. if u like to shop online, or just small thing.. can apply cc.. if u wanna buy somtin big, loan is ok.. most important, u could afford to pay it later.. dont go for along dah la..

i guess others have better advice than me..

Boboi, you are not the only person who experience it. I also own Citibank CC only and get the same telesales calling.
Guess not only Citibank sell our info, even other bank does that, eg. Maybank.

just want to ask if i take cash on call advance from my credit card provider(Hong Leong)...let say i take RM1000 ...the RM1000 is deduct from my credit limit of the card or not?
*
your credit limit take into account both retail purchases n cash advance.. but i suggest dont take too much cash advance.. unlike retail purchase.. the interest is charged starting the day you withdraw the cash.. same like amex.. on the other hand, there's also a fixed cash advance fee if you fund or make online transaction using moneybookers (linked to your cc).. Maybank charge RM 10.. dunno how much the charges for other banks..

this cash on call consider cash advance?not consider as a loan? i really confused now

http://hlb.com.my/pfs/cc/cccoc.jsp?flag=cccoc
*
sounds like personal loan.. like wat pos malaysia offers.. maybe the term they use, instead of using personal loan.. cash on call sounds more promising.. and convincing.. but the rate really high la.. bsn, bank rakyat range btw 5-6% oni.. Alrajhi bank 8%.. but process quick!

do i sound more like bank sales agent ?? hmm.gif

ok i want ask the same question for maybank credit card..
My credit card just approved on 31 march but until now
i do not received any called from the maybank branch.
how long for i need to wait and collect my card. blush.gif

anyone know?  hehe  drool.gif
*
call the hotline and ask them when it will be delivered.. o'wise, juz wait n the branch where u applied the card will send letter for collection.. when i applied last time, i called to know about the status.. once i know it's approved, i ask them when the card will be ready.. coz it was kinda urgent that time, then i told them i wanna collect the card fr Maybank HQ in KL.. Later on i collected the card fr the HQ, the next day i travelled using the card..

Normally take not more than 1 week for approval, then few days for processing the card.. take another few days to be delivered to the branch where the applicant wishes to collect.. then one or two days later u'll get the letter asking collection..

Thanks bro...i will call them

ok does anyone experience and using ezpay 0% installment by maybankard..

thanks
*
it's simple.. wink.gif

For ezypayment, normally 500 purchase and above could get 6 months installment, 1k entitle for 12 months.. 2k for 24.. if buy online, you would get the stated price.. but if u buy fr any shop other than major or official store for that particular item.. they might charge u extra 2.5% of total amount.. .. A'way, if u happen to buy online, once the order is confirmed, they will email you transaction no or ID and later on call you to confirm your purchase and your credit card no.. They will notify you the approval by email or call few days later.. might take a week two for delivery depends on item you intend to buy plus the stock available.. Then, the next month you'll notice in your cc statement the installment amount based on the terms you pick.. If you buy somthin which cost 2k n u choose 24 months tenure.. then u'll see an amount of 167 being charged to ur cc every month for the next 24 months..

For more info, juz call their hotline.. either maybank or the brand u wanna buy.. Also, in some cases, u would also being offered by maybank via brochure which come along with your cc monthly statement, offering this and that at a discounted price with hard-to-resist installment scheme.. It's juz simply normal sale marketing by certain company thru joint program with maybank.. The process is pretty much the same.. submit the form, and they will call u later on to confirm your purchase..

omg.
i went to check with the maybank staff last week,
he said my application was approved on 10th April, (yes, it appears under my m2u acc also)
he said wait probably few more days the card will arrive.
wondering if it's true after seeing you say "3 weeks is normal"  shocking.gif
*
3 weeks is normal for mbb cc delivery.. not juz fr my experience.. but oso fr wat my frens experienced.. if oledi appeared in ur m2u, so its juz a matter of days before it reaches u.. depends where u wish to collect it..

i do agree about those promo on petronas mbb cc.. due to overwhelming responds, perhaps the delivery might get stalled beyond normal routines..

@neoxz,
As dad uses that as his primary card, he will have no problems meeting that criteria.
