Is it your first card ? Normally citibank give card out very easy if that is not your first card

charge 5K to my hong leong card n the next thing happened was the bank increase my credit limit for another 5K, =.=!!!

yes, citibank clear card was my first card in my life ..i applied it last month along with cimb petronas cc ,maybank petronas cc.. i received citibank clear card first ( last 2 week), followed by cimb petronas ( last week ), and today..my maybank petronas cc

but i gonna cancel my cimb petronas cc cos they gave me classic one ( green color=too ugly for me ) instead of gold card anyway, its

credit limit was highest ( 6 k ) compare with my citibank (4k) and maybank cc (4k)..

gold card income need 3k plus is it ? mind to share you income range ? just want to know how normally bank give credit

If I were you, I'll keep the one with the highest credit limit and cancel one of the other card with the 4K limit.

Added on April 2, 2008, 3:33 amWhy don't you make an attempt to call the CS and activate the card? Possibly by doing so you don't need to send in the yellow card.

Existing MBB card member don't need to submit the documents... what a relief...

If i am not mistake, gold card for cimb petronas needs 30k annual income. my income range? above 30k annually but lower then 30k after deducted EPF and socso.. .

As i knew , credit limit that bank assign to not only depends on income earning but there was other factor they also consider like type of job, payment history (loan ) and etc...but i not sure about that ( i guess only )..i think may let other forumer to answer it clearly for u

As i wrote in early posted, my friend got his first card in life (Hong leong bank) with 4.5k credit limit. His gf, card with 8k credit limit ( alliance bank) hope my info provided may help u

Added on April 2, 2008, 11:55 am with combined credit limit 8k ( 2 cards ) is enough for my expenses for now i put card's design as pride of place then credit limit..

my application with alliance bank got rejected. I don't know why. I make rm2200 per month but have only been working for 5 months. should I reapply or wait until worked for a full year to get my ea form?

I got my sony maybank card last year... the call center from maybank call me up and ask "you interested in credit card?" I say "can also". after a few weeks, i got my card.. no forms whatsoever needed.

You must have substantial financial product with Maybank.

dont have, a few k inside only... just started working also.. less than 6 months.

what type of card you apply? alliance bank so strict? normally even you work for 2 months with confirmation they will approve wor.. first card ??

yup first card. i applied for the normal visa. they won't tell me why they rejected also. I don't have any other debts and am not black listed. should I try again with another bank or wait. Is it without ea form can still apply ka?

No need ea form punya la.. you apply gold card they reject or classic card reject ? if still cant , apply ikea card lo,, also alliance bank card

Even people who has been working so long can get their cc application declined for various reasons. All banks are generally consistent in not revealing why they decline a person's cc application.

those univ graduate n currently working.. try opt for Direct Access CIMB Card.. mine salary is 2500.. but can get gold card.. 8K credit limit..

is the direct access platinum same class with cimb platinum?
