anyone taking P1 with low chin ann b4 this ? how's it ?

any comment on Philip Woo's teaching style? will u feel bored in his class? im scared of having long hours class.
Sheila vs Philip , who would u recommend?
there's so much difference between fees of ksa n mcO . 1110 vs 780 .

About P2 , Keith Farmer or Joe Fang ?

I attended Mr Low's P1 last round. smile.gif
And, i would say.. Initially, cos is a new paper, so unsure abt how the paper will be.
Mr Low teaching is ok, but some parts are really dry... no doubt on tat.
The best part would be his Revision, he prepared a set of questions, duno where he got the questions.
He say some r his own questions wo, but some questions are really similar to exam questions.
I remembered so well when he had questions on wordings like "tension" "chairman roles" "Kohberg theory"
all these are also discussed. Hehe.. So if nothing goes wrong, i think i can pass.

seriously consider abt section 2 wangsa maju especially block B or G... becoz they are nearer to PUTRA LRT WANGSA MAJU which you may comfortably depend on it to bring you to KL (MASJID JAMEK STATION)/(PASAR SENI STATION) which after you take off from train 15 mins walk will take you to kasturi, ftms, kolej bandar, segi and mcorange. the train frequency will not be disappointing you. icon_rolleyes.gif

breakfast, lunch and dinner is not a worry as there is DESA SETAPAK which is oso very near to PUTRA LRT WANGSA MAJU consist of many food stall which provide you economy rice with affordable price (lee loke or moon fatt-shop name). of coz there is variety of noodle stall available which give you choices of wanton mee, fishball mee, curry mee, pan mee, yee mee lots lots more. others like "curry chee cheong fun" is very popular especially for breakfast. thumbup.gif

mamak stall is oso a hit in wangsa maju brows.gif BRJ offer variety of dishes like roti canai, nasi kandar, nasi lemak even western food.

there is a stationery shop which the owner sometime will give you discount. i always buy test pad from that shop last time. in front of this shop, there is a board which most of the TARC student will check on which hse or room available for rent. sweat.gif

there is plenty of optical shop and seriously many many many hair salon rclxub.gif

miscellaneous shop ( 7-11, watson, guardian, living cabin, computer shop, photo shop and clinic)

extra information** for leisure purposes
1) Shopping mall JAYA JUSCO ALPHA ANGLE which contain varieties of brand like padini group, samuel and kelvin, watson, guardian, hush puppies.....

2) Hypermarket CARREFOUR which is situated a bit further in section 4 or 5 selling fresh vege, fruit...there is
pos office there too

hopefully this will help

ok ya price for one room i guess is around rm300 better share with someone lor

Don't do in Sunway. I know one lecturer where she is very good mentor in OBU and her price was cheaper than Sunway. If u want, then just PM me, I can give her handphone number to you.

well since many ppl complain bout mcorange fees...any1 from here hv reasons y da fees r so high especially those who studied tehre b4 ??? it's bout rm300 more expensive
*
cause they have famous lecturers and they know students like us do not mind paying more for good lecturers. in short, Mc Orange is blood sucker! i think we should complain to ACCA Malaysia.

i think P1 is easier than P3 cause P3 syllabus is too wide. attend Low Chin Ann P1 lah!

Students must sit the exams in module order - Knowledge, Skills, Essentials then Options - but can attempt papers within a module in any order. However, as the syllabus has been developed to progress educationally in the order presented, ACCA recommends that papers within a module are taken in order.

Papers may be attempted from different modules at the same sitting as long as the modules are attempted in order eg a student can attempt at one exam session Papers F1-F3 (all of the Knowledge module) and any one paper from F4-F9 (Skills module).

FAQ from acca website.. ^-^

Hi, I am new to accounting and I wish to get more info on this subject.

So far I studied until form 5 and I am thinking of getting LCCI first, then ACCA. May I know the requirements for these 2 courses? Am I qualified?

I already started working and I found college which offers part time LCCI. How about ACCA? And may I know how much does each complete course cost? And It would be nice if you can reckon me some good and affordable colleges around Klang Valley.

if u study at kasturi need to find room stay , i think rental if more than tuition fee better directly study at sunway near ur house , total cost is more cheaper.

well, for optional paper, there not much difference which one is easier or tougher, the only thing is how much the topic that need to be covered. Between P4,P5 there have this drawback and benefit, for e.g, P5 question in exam is quite excessive mostly on question 1 where it provides every information from point 1-x..view pilot paper section A..compare to P4 the case/scenario is short, but more focus on calculation..however, P5 now much on theory and explain compare to 3.3 previously..P4 maintain the same as 3.7..where financial calculations and explanation is the main ingredients. icon_rolleyes.gif
