Let me comment on today's P1 as well..

I think the paper was fairly ok n up to the point.. And most important, the examiner put it the same style as in the pilot paper.. So, i dun think you all should get any much suprises.. This is level 3 professional paper, requires some critical arguement (in basic term, common sense)..

As the marks allocation (as ThanatosSwiftfire's claim), I also feel abit too much for the amount of points, but i evaluate longer to suit up the marks..

About the outside syllabus matter, i dun think any of acca final part level, u bring ur textbook to exam hall help not that much rite.? At least the examiner asking all qn within the scope of syllabus.. N most of the points i think my lecturer (sheila) did cover with us in the class,  smile.gif

Haha, lucky, my decision to ignore ethics' part is correct.. Throw out Q4 optional, the paper nothing much of ethics ady.. hehe, u will study so much lesser without the ethics stuff.. Ignore ethics n still can answer all the question..  smile.gif

Dun worry, be happie.. A reliable source says this sitting P1 passing rate will not be low..!! So, wait n see la till 18th feb.. cheerz..  biggrin.gif

Hope you can pass this paper! Very convincing statement and i guess no problem for a top person like u....hehe complete accca at 20 rite? tongue.gif
As for me, old d la.....

ANy Parmindar student can answer my queries ?> How about his presentation notes ? is it clear and detail, or only brief note and you have make your own note during class ? will he give pass year questions before exam ?
*
His note is clear n detail. he will highlight which area to read n which can be omitted. Normally, he will give examples which are not available in the notes. Thus, u need 2 copy it.

hey guy, anyone know when is the due date for paying the subscription fee???
*
By 1 Jan 2008!
Hopefully u still got time 2 pay....

Well, this is the 1st time i paid the fees on my own. Went to the post office n sent the bank draft. I found that this method dont really work n quite expensive n time consuming too. Until now, my balance in myacca a/c still shows a bal 90pounds unpaid.
May i know, from anyone previous experiece, how long will it take for acca process it sweat.gif . Now, im not sure whether acca received my mail or not...i use poslaju sent on 21 Dec....Thx

actually it's not a matter of paying or not. it depends on acca clearing those bank drafts and credit card payments. i got shocked when i got my annual return form and see i still have my examination fees outstanding. i asked the bank and they say the bank draft had not been lodged into the acca account yet. how inefficient.  rclxub.gif
this time got it paid online. directly clear. you can try paying online.
*
Then...im going to double pay if i pay online now?
