my comment bout tis paper is...P1.. is doable.. only section A cost me half pages of answer booklet..i think i did section b around 4.55-5pm.. still manageable to finish it,but of cuz not 100% complete.. i answered Q4..ethics on gray,owen,adam thingy,also on stakeholder..did the CEO and chairman..but discard on risk..coz for me its Risky but huge marks consumed in the letter to investor part..16marks..took me 3 full pages.. my hand also tired,pain plus handwritting was so bad in the last few minutes..overall,hopefully this manageable,doable paper wont let the markers mark very strictly..there is a chance if paper easy, we all happy..at the end ..however,tis is a new paper..maybe the other way around.. and this examiner is an academician..he teaches at uni.newcastle..of coz question looks not so extremely difficult..

is on NED..The 4 roles of NED..and that 4 roles applied in the case.. how they ask u relate those 4 to the overstatement of malleria..

P1 is lil bit confusing bout the marks,also examiner for q.4 uses a different term for the Gray,Owen,Adam framework.. contrast the work of the 3 theorist in Pristine capitalist and Social Contraciticism (an alternate to proponent of social contract the third stage of that framework) i think kaplan and BPP does not use such term.. unless in UK , so i think there is a little bit of confusion there..well,hopefully examiner able to take such necessary action bout this matter..remind me of paper 2.5 june 2006 sitting Q.2 where they asked candidate to prepare statement of recognised equity or something?but same as statement of changes in equity ..thats for UK variant.. well, the exam feedback is on the acca website, so give ur feedback, but dont give bashed comment at the last stage of the feedback the paper saying extremely difficult, not appropriate la, hentam acca level of question la...its a negative comment,later they consider u know what when marking the paper.. just be balanced really pressure for P3 esp. the case study Q.1..800 words,wow,textbook answer wont help..using the approp. model and justify it..aiyoo really it will be time consuming for P3

aiyoo, dun throw away just like that, ACCA is like a battlefield, dun surrender or admit defeat without step into it.. maybe that what acca wants, more people feel uncomfortable, let the ££ flow in.. come on people we do this for ourself and also a mission to for Malaysia to increase pass rate than any other countries..this is a National Mission.. as what JUNE 2007 malaysia swept all the gold,bronze,silver..

i would definitely said to myself, there was time constraint..coz i did q.1, 2, 4.. for me,it is inappropriate that case study for Q.2 for project is long case study,equivalent to P1 q.1..it even continued to the next page only the top.. so,hopefully examiner aware of this.. in the past, section b based on half page case study,but this time, q.2 was full page and a half...definitely time constraint.. Q.3 totally off guard..value chain a same fotostat question from pilot..i think is fair yet,there is a weakness lying in there..

yup,the students, some of them went to outside i,e additional revision class at mcorange,kasturi..so i dun think sunway alone achieve it.. its subjective lor.. last time if im not wrong around 2006 i think, the individual(name hidden due to privacy issue) is the sunway top affiliate, but u saw individual name in FTMS top affiliate too.. so?? so, its the person itself,how much u study..the way u study

yup,it is called the oxford brookes applied accounting degree..as long as u meet the detailed criteria.

it depends with your average marks from F4-F9..and certain scale qualified for 1st honour,2nd upper,3 lower etc... and also ur 5k words..
not presentation,presentation perhaps like a bonus or expression to ur peers or mentor..
btw, how do u all rate keith farmer?? differentiate from haneef, menon ..are they all in the same group i.e driving force for Reporting subject?

well,for optional paper, there not much difference which one is easier or tougher, the only thing is how much the topic that need to be covered. Between P4,P5 there have this drawback and benefit, for e.g, P5 question in exam is quite excessive mostly on question 1 where it provides every information from point 1-x..view pilot paper section A..compare to P4 the case/scenario is short, but more focus on calculation..however, P5 now much on theory and explain compare to 3.3 previously..P4 maintain the same as 3.7..where financial calculations and explanation is the main ingredients.

Tax u need lots of reading and application of coz in addition, practice..practice questions which same with all acca papers, just that tax u need to spend most of the time reading on the legislation and also the tax case law,the rational behind each of the case i.e similar to paper F4/2.2
if im not mistaken,few years back there is a question on 3.2 regarding the decision behind the case i.e Ketua pengarah Vs xxxx, so u need to justify why does the decision are taken also know the proper format way of calculating, so memorising the computation of each tax is essential,coz u have to follow the rule of calculating it,cannot use alternative or ur own way, which differs from P4 where calculation can be used in any way (except if they are to use i.e. Black Scholes model,CAPM) which u must derived to the correct answer. of coz both subject is cumbersome to learn, but depends on ur style, if u like bind by/follow rules...tax would be ideal or P4 if u are freestyle yet financial issues and deep understanding or each financing approach u should concern on, at the end of the day, regardless which paper u take in optional, the main point is that finish ACCA, the specialised thing can be worried later,which u will be taught or trained during work or experience based..

let me confirm here,P2 under keith farmer for KSA,is the timetable has been amended?coz based on the latest i view that the original 10 and 17 january is conducted by Joe Fang..compare to the ksa website timetable

attended P4 @FTMS daniel ho, class is 20+ people..good teaching also..but of coz,the paper is challenging as he said thou...both to study and pass the paper..

'Cash flow statement' will be 'statement of cash flows...aiyoo..now have to adopt this significant changes although the format still remains.. why the changes???still good what using Balance sheet and p&l statement..

I plan to join P2 wit Yap at kolej bandar after the result, so may I (if there is a student here under Yap) know till date, which topic he's currently teaching?? is he already teach the consol or not yet??
