Added on December 9, 2007, 1:58 am QUOTE(shuyin_lenne_2007 @ Dec 8 2007, 11:00 PM) F7... help... am so nervous... need to find the possible miracle way to do well for Qs 1, 2 & 3... i guess i'll have to sacrifice Qs 4 & 5... how can i predict which standard will be examined? look at the Pilot paper alone was scary, the SOF... etc etc... anyone knows the fastest way to memorise the concept of Consol, Publish, CFS, Ratio? hehe do the past yr question lowell... good luck all, on core papers & other papers... & F7 as well... hope to pass @Zoeee : all the best to you, you can do it... don't worry but i did all the Q1, Q2, Q3 for the past yr questions but still blur on f7 oh no... alot of mistakes too GOOD LUCK EVERYONE This post has been edited by littlediana: Dec 9 2007, 01:58 AM |

QUOTE(ellimist @ Dec 9 2007, 08:28 AM) littlediana I believe it's IAS 8. hehe true trueNo idea what to focus for f7,since I'm doin the paper this sem But srsly, don't give up on the remainding questions.Dunno also write some nonsense in. Just go through whatever notes u have and at least understand each standard's principles so you have somethin to write. Besides, you need to know standards to do Q2 right dunno also write something maybe can get a few marks hehe |

QUOTE(ThanatosSwiftfire @ Dec 11 2007, 07:56 PM) er today's F7 was rather easy. wow if i can pass i happy already loq1 groups didn't have any difficult adjustments. q2 had eps included for 3 marks, but the remaining adjustments were quite tricky q3 ratio 8 marks, explanation 17. included was an acquisition. quite alot to say. q4 faithful representation >< wtf. part (b) was on ias17 leases, i found this part much easier since i studied for it. q5 ias38 and conceptual framework on asset definition and recognition, and also ias8 correction of error. quite manageable. i estimate myself to be around the 70s category. |

QUOTE(roy_pck @ Dec 19 2007, 11:51 AM) no good. last time i attended her 3.2 class in PAAC. damn dry and she always get lost. hmm is it?cause they have famous lecturers and they know students like us do not mind paying more for good lecturers. in short, Mc Orange is blood sucker! i think we should complain to ACCA Malaysia. i think P1 is easier than P3 cause P3 syllabus is too wide. attend Low Chin Ann P1 lah! i cannot attend p1 or p3 i no time i need to work so i attend p2 class and self study for p1 or p3 lo looking for people to lend notes so i cant photocopy or sell me their notes those in last sitting |

QUOTE(coolly @ Dec 20 2007, 12:27 PM) i would suggest u take CAT if u wan to do ACCA instead of LCCI... what is irc?I think P6 more useful as it does not only help u in exam but also real life... there is no easier pass paper der..once upon a time,P4 under the old syllabus always has the lowest passing rate..i think this wont be any big diff even now it is put under option.. my advice is,don think which is easier to pass, think which option u interested..there is no easier paper to pass in my opinion.. u can try siva nair lo...he is quite ok.i attend his 2.3 last time..somemore last time he is the marker for this paper, not sure now he is still the marker or not... aiya, they always chasing for fee der la...anyway i think is easier jus to submit annual return online, jus few steps will do.. actually i think adv fin mgt also not much calc, even tax also got calc, when u come to part 3 level, the key concept is learn and apply,so no matter which option, the principle is still the same..jus maybe adv fin mgt got core area to focus,as compare to tax,tax is all every way in the syllabus, maybe that make a bit difficult to prepare..but no doubt, useful paper... if u don like, don force urself to do,becoz if like that u also cannot appreciate the knowledge and apply accordingly to ur question.. then u self study P1 and attend irc lo.. to let acca know what have u done for the past one yr...jus a record... u can try philip in kasturi... he is quite ok la...jus talking a bit fast..hehe send them wat? i completed my STR actually do i need to send to them the original??? |

QUOTE(carlosandy @ Dec 23 2007, 12:15 AM) \ yup hard for self study and hard to go to classes too since working ....Which paper u plan to take? I think you can try KSA cos majority of their lecturer also good and experience. Their tuition fees also can acceptable. But my advise is at least you must go one time normal class, cos u will feel very hard for self study, especially when you are in Prof level paper. i am taking p2 and p1 or p3 this sitting i think or maybe the optionals lo |

QUOTE(schuen @ Jan 6 2008, 08:45 PM) Used to study ACCA in Sunway for a few sem. Sunway uses differentiation strategy : better study environment, longer tuition hours, lecturers ok, lots of prize winners produced, famous college, premier plus status, high passing rate etc & so, fees also expensive lor... i also not study at sunway now alreadyPrize winners will not feel expensive coz got money rewards kua I think...For those working students from big 4, especially PWC, EY & KPMG, no feelin of expensive kua coz sponsor by their co, need to bond however. Tat's why part time classes consist majority of these ppl who r very proud of themselves n they deserve to be proud lor. Left only those who pay for the full fees, no sponsors, no rewards, not fr rich family n not earning high salary will feel the pain like me...so changed to ksa las sem. However, need to clarify, Sunway is indeed a good tuition provider for ACCA if u dun compare the price lor. too time consuming for working ppl like me hehe looking for p1 and p2 notes anyone ?
