I agree with u, Mc Orange fees too high, can't acceptable in KL area.

For SEGI, if CKF teaching P6, the RM920 still can acceptable cos he work very hard to help student pass tis paper. Compare to Mc Orange P6 Chow Chee Yan, CKF is more cheaper.

Somebody said Chow Chee Yan class including IRC mah, so fees higher than CKF loh! But they even dun know actually in normal class CKF oredi give Revision, so we no need paid extra to attend IRC.

dilemma here. don't know should take P4 or P6 (together with P5) as optional paper next sitting. i had attempted 3.2 in Dec 06 sitting but i failed terribly. doh.gif

if i take P4 i would attend Chan Tze Kang's class as i have confidence in him.

if i take P6 i would attend Low Chin Ann's class as i think there's not many options available for next sitting.

anyone has taken P4 and P6 (or either one) previously? mind to give me some advice? i personally not too much interested in P6 lo cause it involves a lot of memory works. correct me if i'm wrong.

when it states just 'P2' alone in the timetable, it means both lecturers (Joe Fang & Keith Farmer) have class of their own on that day itself. that's the KSA style, both lecturers run on the same day, pretty interesting isn't it? therefore it's clearly stated.

Hi, smile.gif wna ask, how parmindar approach for p1 and p3 last sitting? Might not go sunway, still back to kasturi.... so plan to take up p1,2,3,4,6 class.... any suggestion? By the way wat class u plan to go? unsure.gif

P1 - Philip Woo (I think he is one of the best P1 lecturer in KL, better go to register fast to avoid no place, last sitting full house)

P2 - Joe Fang or Keith Farmer (But I will go to Keith Farmer, cos know that his exam technique very good)

P3 - Parmindar (He is very good in IT/IS topic and can teach u how to apply IT/IS in Value Chain, Portal
5 forces. For Mgmt part, he is good oso. He do his own answer for all the PYQ to make student more easy to read and understand, cos examiner answer was very confuse to read)

P4 - Daniel Ho (never attend b4, but a lot ppl said he is very good)

P6 - Chow Chee Yan (experience lecturer but very expensive. If CKF teach IRC, then better go cos CKF exam technique very good)

For P1, I think Sheila is good oso, but her notes too detail until we can't finish study. If compare Sheila with Philip Woo, I personally prefer Philip Woo cos he make student more understanding. But since u said the seem x suit ur learning, then may be u go for Sheila lah!

For P2, I think no problem if u change to Keith Farmer cos the exam style in P2 will be difference from F5.

For P5, my friend attend Alan Yeo class b4. Compare with CKF and Chow Chee Yan, Alan is not so good.

for p1 - i took sheila's class for last sitting... wat i can say is the technique that she taught on how to understand the question requirement is good, the answer that she provided is easier to understand and the way to identify the dilemma of case study is good too.
for p4 - i heard Daniel Ho is the best n he is still teaching this sitting in ftms
for p5 - adv performance mgt... is better to choose chow kim tai in mcorange for this sitting
p6 - i had taken chow chee yen class last sitting for dec'07 exam... actually he is not bad but he will only cover those topic that he spotted in IRC..means it is risky coz for dec'07 sitting exam... those topic spotted by him n ckf didn't come out... one more thing is he is always late to the class (if the class is at 10am, he reached by 10.30am so the class will be extended til 5.30pm)

in my opinion,P6 knowledge is the most useful,it can help u in your exam and real life..but it is not easy as richard thornton now more emphasize on writing...roy_pck,i dont think tax need a lot of memory work coz u have to understand the principle in order to apply flexibly, purely memorise wont help u pass the exam..coz u don forget this is Part 3 papers...

For P4,i think it is quite ok also provided u like finance la..daniel ho has his unique technique in delivering the lecture to students..

ckf no teach normal class,so i think other option will be siva nair or chow chee yan lo..
for the irc,i think ckf will conduct, but looking now so many colleges make student compulsory sign up the revision,if no demand for his irc,i think he might not conduct lo...

Hi Zoe, i've only attended Parmindar's 1st semester. I find his approach interesting, the way he teaches emphasise on the key points & he'll say them out loud, for sure this'll hit them into your head clearly. Personally a lecturer that won't make you feel a theory paper is boring, amazing. At first I thought his approach was a bit exaggerating, thought that he could only do the talking & nothing more to persuade the students, but no, I felt that he suit my style of enjoying a theory paper.

Hmm, Sunway, perhaps P2 but i'm sure it'll be really crowded... Why? Because it's Ms. Menon I guess. Well, I suppose I might give Keith Farmer a try, as P2 has a lot more theory than F7. P1, probably Philip Woo the one who's being considered best, but I ain't so sure, the classes will be twice per month & on Sundays. Tough one really, maybe I'll try elsewhere. What do you think?

Planning to take F6, P3 first. Perhaps I'll decide upon whether to take P1 & P2 as well. Enjoying your holidays back in hometown yea, Zoe? Oh... forgotten to ask for your contact (mobile & MSN) during revision days. PM me yea. Haha!

any comment on Philip Woo's teaching style? will u feel bored in his class? im scared of having long hours class.
Sheila vs Philip , who would u recommend?
there's so much difference between fees of ksa n mcO . 1110 vs 780 .

About P2 , Keith Farmer or Joe Fang ?
