I'm more curious about the battery that apple is using. Some news says is silicone carbon like those China Fon. If it's true. I might consider buying since I like thin & light Fon

15w thay ive mentioned based on magsafe powerbank that available at shopee , from what ive seen for wireless only 15w at the description available on each products , decided not to get it as it will be a dust collector

Im a 16 pro max user , based on what certain website mentioned , pro max charge up to 31w , so currently at home im using beasus 65w adapter plus beasus 240w usb c cable , it does perform better then standard apple 20w adapter but still using apple 20w adapter plus apple usb c cable at my workplace

So later if im gonna purchase a magsafe powerbank , I won’t mind if it charge my 16 pro max with 15w cuz it just to juice up when ever there is no power source , back home or office then charge it thru wired charging , so once again wireless fast charging not a big deal , once again wireless charging

My wireless power bank is Oppo brand compatible with iPhone mag safe but since my 16e don't have mag safe but have wireless charging I bought a cheap mag safe case from Shopee to try out it both matches. Basically if you shake it too hard the power bank will fall off. I think they use weak magnets only. Not the neodymium magnets which is better.

the Apple care doesnt cover 100% of part , if something accidently break , u stil need to folk out some money to exchange it , for me the Apple Care is dumb if u putting case + screen protector on your phone. If only it cover 100% only i willing to reconsider it.

For apple care plus you still need to pay the service fee , rm139 for screen and back glass , rm469 for others .. Just like you mentioned , if we pay rm949 plus we got cover 100% then its worth it to extend the warranty , i wont think twice for it .. With that amount of money i can invest lots of stuff for my iphone 🧐🥰

yes bro , spend on other magsafe accessory , power bank , AR screen protector lagi best , what if ngam2 Apple Care expired , then only ur screen having problem , izit u stil need to folk out RM1799 for the screen? Plus the RM949 apple care u pay before , the amount of spend will be even higher

Looks like iPhone 17 going to be using the A18 chip, thus making it super unattractive -- may as well go for iPhone 16 Pro.

iPhone 17 Air won't be for me, it'll bend in my jeans and I don't like the form factor.

512gb is decent. i have been using 512gb for years when they first offer 512gb option. if u dun archive ur photos/videos at all in ur iphone, even 512gb/1tb will not be enough.

but 512gb is decent size for long term usage.

128gb = anxiety
256gb = ngam ngam only but good combo with cloud
512gb = comfortable Worriless
1tb = can selfie from morning to night , snap whatever u want

But if u want to save up your money for bigger storage , the sandisk Ultra Dual Drive 3.1 type C actually work very well.

Subscribe to icloud+ , it will solved the storage issue 🚨

quite pointless to connect external storage for more space.

one should just spend more for more storage iphone at the start.
even iphone can extend the storage with usb-c external storage but obviously it is not feasible to hold a external storage together with iphone to take photos/videos.

It might be not so convenience, but its a solution , might not suitable for you but might be suitable for someone 😊

not everyone was rich enough to spend on icloud and extra rm1k or rm2k for storage , or maybe someone feel not worth for the price and looking for another option , like the external magsafe SSD also another solution but with higher price , your money your choice , nothing right or wrong is this world , it always just a suggestion and optional to choose 😉

200GB, 11.90* 60 = Rm720, I'll put this aside first since I'm going for 512GB, I'm actually ok with 256GB, but not for wifey, she need more.

Not really pointless, It's also an option to consider. Useful if you plan to backup all things on your old phone, and start anew on the new phone.
But like you've mentioned there, it's not feasible especially if you need another device to manage it. Maybe useful if you can do it only using the phone.
External drive also have their flaws, Thumb drive easily misplaced, and SSD/NVME may lose data overtime if you didn't connect it for a long period of time.

Thanks bro, I'll consider all options. 512GB probably is a must just for wifey. I'll probably get the 256GB + external drive/icloud subscription.

Personally I will not spend money on iCloud, but use the money saved to buy a bigger storage iPhone instead which the storage is permanent and with one time charge.

Actually for daily usage , rarely u will shooting and video alot , i believe u do video/picture on whatsapp/IG more than turning on your camera to actually snap , what i mean was majority consumer usage unless your job needed for alot of camera usage.

Most of the time when we will start to found the lack of storage? The answer is on vocation, outstation , or especially travelling , easily hit hundred of video and thousand of picture. So what my friend actually do is shooting as much as video and picture they can , then they pick the great and best for IG story , after this will make some memories video to IG ,after done everything , the travelling folder will just move out from phone to Hard drive or PC to keep , anything need to refresh back can always refer back to their own IG story / Video post. It also will make your Phone album look more clean , imagine u want to find back some working photo on top each time , u have to scrolling over the thousand travelling picture , if travel twice yearly? Then will have extra more picture to scrolling , can try to learn how to minimize the usage of storage is good too for long run


Bigger storage is good , but imagine if something shit happen on your phone and u dont backup frequencly , all your 500GB 1TB picture/video will be gone so learn to backing up ur data regulary also very important.


So i think its quite ok for those who dont wish to spend too much money on storage (as iphone upsize storage is really pricy compared to android phone) , either spend on icloud or HDD for long run. If 1 day 1TB iphone also can't satisfy you , then how? keep on boosting iphone storage also not a solution for a long run

Iphone 17 air is design for different purpose people , some people they just using for light usage , that why the air only have 1 camera for people not too heavy on photography, for people only use for social media and replying text , as long as can go out 9am and back home 6pm stil left 10-15% , then its more than enough for them , if u are heavy user , for sure u will skip the air and looking for Pro Max.

If like this I better wait for China Fon version of Air series with bigger battery, 2900mah is no no for me
