I’m looking at iPhone air as secondary phone. Plan to check the retailers today on pre-order.

Went to switch just now. Saw the iPhone air black color had a lot of scratches. Didnt see any (maybe I missed it) on the white color one.

I really like how thin the phone is. I’m tempted to get.

Yup, I saw the reports. Just very surprised how bad it is when I held the phone in my hands.

I bought the iPhone air gold color at trx. Originally, wanted white color but finally decided on gold. Anyway, can’t really tell the difference from far. I’ve setup the external such as sp, lens protector and casing. Haven’t done the transfer yet from iPhone 14.

It’s nice. Just a tinge of gold. From far, it’s still white or off white looking. Not much difference from getting the white. Price wise not great but I’m just after the lightness of the phone. Also, want to try something different from Apple.

I think it will definitely be discounted online as it’s not as popular. There were readily available stocks at Apple trx yday for walk-in customers. So go for it when the time it right!

Next plan is to upgrade my mom and sis phones to the base 17 models.

I was monitoring the iPhone 16 pro 256gb prices the last few months during sales time. Cheapest I saw was around 3.5k - 3.6k. But didn’t pull the trigger coz somehow preferred the iPhone 17 series.

I’m really tempted to get the iPhone 17 now. Want to get the upgrades over and done with.

The iPhone Air took time to setup as I had to convert to esim first on my old phone. Made a mistake and failed to convert. So I went to Maxis center but they didn’t have any QR code. I decided to convert on the spot using the Hotlink app ($5 fee). The maxis lady said some customers had issues also. Fortunately, it was successful. Setting up the Air was a breeze after that.

Nice. Waiting for 11/11 sale, rite? I think the i17 is too popular. Hope some discounts will happen soon. Hehe.

Yup. 17pm is my main phone though. The screen display seems more vibrant on the pro max. Just my first impression and will observe more on the Air. My second thought was the phone is too thin and slippery. But love the lightness of it.

Just saw your msg. The Air battery life is ok for my usage which is some light surfing and bank app. I still find myself using the pro max more and yes, battery life is better.

I think the iPhone 17 is better value as a second phone but I wanted to try something new.

Unfortunately, I don’t have this data measurement. I usually charge my phone when it drop less than 70%. I can’t help it as I like to see the phones at 100%.

As for battery health, not so worry on this as I changed phones yearly. About 98% for the previous iPhone 16 pro max based on my charging habits.
