sounds like a downgrade.

You don't have to backup everything what. Can select what you want or do not want to backup. Media/video contents etc can opt to exclude. Or just back them up to your PC one time and then exclude them from the icloud backup thereafter.

when do you think the iphone Air review will comes out?

A lot of people including me is waiting for the review.
Especially the battery and the fusion camera.

Other model doesn’t interests me.
Either the Air or none.

Since the Air is esim capable only, I may need to convert to it if I get the Air.

Is it easy to switch between phones later on (via esim)?
I have 2 phones (iPhone and Android ) and now I am switching between them as and when as I like.

Aiyo. Any chance if you'll know the turnaround time from you request till the carrier send you the esim? Instantaneous or have to wait?

And the charge might be a deal breaker in thw long run.
I switch phone depends on the occasion.
For work I use my Fold, if I go cycling/exercise/travel light I switch to my iPhone etc.

Ya lo. Damn, digi so good, free no charge for your esim. Too bad I'm stuck with Maxis.
But yes, when I traveled also I just use those esim bought from Shopee. Hassle free.

iPhone 17 having same battery life with iPhone Air.

For me eSIM is a deal breaker. Else I already owned one.
6.3 inch too small. 6.9 too big.
6.5 is just nice. Battery seems to be ok-ish now according to most reviews. And camera-wise, I hardly use the telephoto lens.

Finally got my hands-on on the Iphone Air.
Not really having the 'wow' factor as I would imagine. It's thin yes but as I am already using the Fold 7, once unfolded, the Fold is thinner than the Air LOL.
And size wise, it's just barely bigger than the regular base 17 model.
Overall sacrificing the battery and the camera, no wonder the reception for this model is abit subpar. Just my opinion.

Lotsa video/youtube & user reviews from Reddits.
Basically majority is saying it's totally fine for most general users. Can last whole day.
Heavy users better go for the Pro.

Hey. Can I ask that if you can check for the Model Number (under Settings > General > About) for your phone if is it still shown as ZP/A set? Malaysia sets should show as such.
I noticed in some online used marketplace, ppl are showing their sets as having different model ID eg (..L4X/A, N4X/A etc) but they claim it comes with receipt from Machines

I will probably go with the ultra thin carbon fiber case like i always do for all my phones.
I don't mind too much on the speaker, for FB/IG/YT videos, it is sufficient for me.
Battery i think it's OK, plug it off at 7am and been using the phone like i would normally do (and also setting up user accounts etc), now still have >50% left.
I am pretty sure with my usage, it's gonna be an all day battery phone.

I'm absolutely loving this iPhone Air. Can't seems to put it down because it's like carrying nothing. It's by far the best (ergonomatically) iPhone I've use in a long time. As I've said in my earlier posts, the regular/Pro is a abit smallish by today's standard and the pro-maxes are just gigantic.
Sure it doesn't have the best (number of) cameras nor the best battery but for day-to-day use, it's just perfect. Having said that, battery for me is totally fine, it's just like my 16 pro, but the Air's screen is larger and overall lighter.

I totally gets it that the mainstream people would like more bang for the buck so Air is will not be their first choice.

I would even go further to say that this is more for those with more than one devices. So if you go for a trip then you can use your other primary device for those 200MP/wide-angle/tele photo shots and what not. And battery that lasts all day.
Any other day-to-day life, this Air is just perfect.
