When u said backup wireless, how to do so? You are not referring to iCloud rite? I dun want to subscribe to icloud+, I prefer to use local storage only. And I prefer to keep the money spent on iCloud+ monthly for a bigger capacity iPhone instead.

My frequently of backup of my iPhone is like once a month to iTunes on my PC to external HDD.

First time backup will take super long time, but subsequent backup will be incremental which takes about 1 hour or 2.
I still backup to iTunes now. 🤪

If you dont pay for the subscription you get a very small allocation of storage only which will not be enough for storage. How much do you pay for your monthly subscription? Just curious.

Why I did not buy iCloud+ is simple.

I need to go with 2TB plan which the cost is rm44.90 monthly. If assuming I change iPhone every 3 years the toto cost spent is rm44.90 x 36 =1,616.40 MYR which is may exceeded the extra rm1k I paid for the bigger storage.

In fact in 22 months of time it will hit the rm1k cost for extra storage.
