I got conflicting responses about SWU 5.0 500 Mbps for RM 90 offer. My contract expires mid Nov. I walked into KLCC Unifi Centre over the weekend and asked about it. They said they previously had that offer bundled with a Unifi Mobile thing that I believe was highlighted here. However, they said their HQ told them they were not able to offer it anymore at the centre. To get the SWU 5.0 500 Mbps for RM 90 offer, you need to have a competitor submit a transfer request and then TM's retention team will call to make you that offer.
Today, I called 100 to ask about it and they said they do not know anything but that SWU 5.0 500 Mbps for RM 90 offer was only available at TM Point outlets on a walk in basis.
Anybody else have that response?
It is probably logistically easier to submit for online termination after the contract ends as some of you have done here, to get the SWU offer rather than go through a competitor transfer request if that is the case.
Yep, same incident happened to me, at klcc brand, which they share nonsense. Although showing them this lowyat forum as prove, they didn't bother, they given 2 option, either force to take their postpaid for 2 months to get swu 5.0 rm 90 for 500mbps or either you required to have transfer id from competitors.
So end up the outlets didn't assist on anything, i submitted termination request to switch to digi fiber then next day the other team called me, to offer rm 90 for 500mbps.
They just purposely don't let customer easily get swu 5.0 with cheaper price.
So best method is either submit tranfer to other telco fiber or submit termination online then you only will receive counter offer. Otherwise those outlet is subjective and want sales only.
Especially klcc flashship outlet, many drama shown.
Many condo at kl area, celcomdigi fiber offered rm 90 for 500mbps, unifi still with most expensive price which loot from customer, this is really unethical business, dishonest and overpriced of current broadband price.
