2 modem router,
All from unifi, dint buy 3rd party
Why?

But at the end on the day,
2 modem router are definitely better than 1 router modem combo?

QUOTE(mikey8811 @ Nov 6 2025, 03:11 PM)
I got conflicting responses about SWU 5.0 500 Mbps for RM 90 offer. My contract expires mid Nov. I walked into KLCC Unifi Centre over the weekend and asked about it. They said they previously had that offer bundled with a Unifi Mobile thing that I believe was highlighted here. However, they said their HQ told them they were not able to offer it anymore at the centre. To get the SWU 5.0 500 Mbps for RM 90 offer, you need to have a competitor submit a transfer request and then TM's retention team will call to make you that offer.

Today, I called 100 to ask about it and they said they do not know anything but that SWU 5.0 500 Mbps for RM 90 offer was only available at TM Point outlets on a walk in basis.

Anybody else have that response?

It is probably logistically easier to submit for online termination after the contract ends as some of you have done here, to get the SWU offer rather than go through a competitor transfer request if that is the case.
*
Yep, same incident happened to me, at klcc brand, which they share nonsense. Although showing them this lowyat forum as prove, they didn't bother, they given 2 option, either force to take their postpaid for 2 months to get swu 5.0 rm 90 for 500mbps or either you required to have transfer id from competitors.
So end up the outlets didn't assist on anything, i submitted termination request to switch to digi fiber then next day the other team called me, to offer rm 90 for 500mbps.
They just purposely don't let customer easily get swu 5.0 with cheaper price.
So best method is either submit tranfer to other telco fiber or submit termination online then you only will receive counter offer. Otherwise those outlet is subjective and want sales only.
Especially klcc flashship outlet, many drama shown.
Many condo at kl area, celcomdigi fiber offered rm 90 for 500mbps, unifi still with most expensive price which loot from customer, this is really unethical business, dishonest and overpriced of current broadband price.

But did you realize that those RM 90 for 500Mbps need to be bundled with postpaid plans? smile.gif Whereas UniFi is a standalone plan? I don't think it is a fair comparison. Calling it unethical, I don't think so. At least, it is giving RM 90 now.

In general, Malaysia's Internet packages are not cheap compared to those of our neighboring countries.

*
I saw the huge banner outside their center. 249 slash to 159, 1gbps.

I just took the postpaid plan and terminated since im not using. Better than just bleed 140 a month. Long term i save near 500 a year.

Saw banner celcom 90 500, maxis 159 1gbps.

If still within contract, either RM500
or the remaining months of the contract, which ever is higher
No contract, no penalty
Within contract, RM500 at least

When you submitted termination request online, was your contract already expired? i just want to know if the contract needs to have expired when you submit a termination request online for them to counter offer you with SWU 5.0. My contract expires on Nov 17.

If tm already called and offer 500mbps for rm90, and the ticket requested for termination is nowhere to be seen in the self-care portal, how to track tho?

Did you filter the date properly? Make sure it covers the date you file for the termination, and it should be under My Activites. Anyway if they already called you for offer, the termination request should be invalid now, by right according to others here you should receive a new order for the SWU plan

Normal same as me. Just wait to receive the order detail through your email. You can also check through live chat on the status of the order.

Just curious in what way you feel D-Link is better than Skyworth?

You can configure your MX67 to do PPPoE then run all of them in bridge mode

CelcomDigi needs RM 60 and above to be bundled with fiber but to get RM 90 for 500Mbps may need more than RM 60 postpaid. Same goes for Maxis, need to bundle more than RM 100 plans too. Anyway, I don’t bundle so I can’t comment much on the pricing.
