Just got the installation done, Skyworth GN630V, I reinstalled back my old setup ONU-Alcatel -> Mikrotik -> TP-link C1200(bridge mode/wifi transmitter).
It no longer work despite the techncian showing me the unifi user and pass still the same. Mikrotik was set by my brother last time, the unifi login user and pass is here. The TP-link works as a wireless AP only. This post has been edited by 3nf0rc3r: Oct 31 2025, 12:49 PM |

Maybe check that LAN cable is connected to LAN 1 instead of WAN (on skyworth) I plugged the wrong port for Alcatel ONU. Plugged to LAN 1 working fine. So now I dare to try set Skyworth to bridge mode cause I want Mikrotik to continue as my modem/dialer.Thanks. |

After set Skyworth to bridge mode, somehow VOIP error. But all the VOIP settings still there and enabled. So I cannot make or receive calls. Internet no issue.

QUOTE(QuinntheQueen @ Oct 30 2025, 04:35 PM) cancelling Unifi is such a hassle! the connection at my place was so bad that I decided to switch to another provider. had to go to the store just to request for cancellation. Even after I told them I wanted to terminate, they still asked for reasons and proof. I ended up saying I was leaving the country and they wanted to see my flight details! isn’t that a bit too intrusive? feels like it goes against pdpa? If you decided to switch to other fibre provider riding on Unifi infra, please do not terminate. Use the proper transfer method. If out of contract and you decided to terminate, they should not ask you for those details. You can report to MCMC.QUOTE(sledgy04 @ Oct 30 2025, 07:02 PM) Yup me too...so difficult to change unifi to celcom.....they delay ...no answer....need to go to their store... A lot of question....then cannot terminate right away....!!!they need 1 month to terminate!!! So need to pay 1 more bil ( current paid bill will finish in next 2 days)..the worse broadband experience ever. Change Unifi to Celcom fibre, do you go through the transfer process? Register Celcom fibre, get transfer ID. |

Want to check for those who received offer call after submitted termination.... what's the number they're calling from? Just wanted to make sure I didn't block the number as I've been blocking a lot of unknown calls

QUOTE(trinity3 @ Oct 29 2025, 11:35 AM) just to share. Received SMS asking me to find login details from Unifi Universe app > streaming apps. I go there all the options is to sign up for Paid Disney Hotstar.... I don't see anything free.Terminate request via tel call. Got a case number. 2 weeks no one called, so I called them to ask status. Termination team called me same Fri afternoon with offer to stay. Agreed to offer. By Tue, line changed from 300 to 100mbps, 6mth free, with Disney for 79 + tax with new 2y contract. Yet to receive sms for Disney, tho. If I didn't get the offer, I'd move to 5G BB. Will see in 2 yrs time, hopefully prices of 5G modem/router drop more by then. This post has been edited by 3nf0rc3r: Oct 31 2025, 10:00 PM |
