So I'm guessing if unifi follow this maybe in future they'll have free speed upgrade again and again.

AFAIK dashboard one is sent request to their system, then you need wait customer service to call back you to confirm the request.

2nd method you need request termination via your own portal, then wait unifi team call u, you give them reason u got offer from Astro RM90 for 500mbps. Then they will counter offer you back same price for 500mbps.

U may need contact TM to check again.

Mostly they didn't configured your profile correctly.

This maybe you can get smart switch set the port as vlan500, then firewall can dial without vlan tag.

BTW the firewall able to create sub-interface and vlan tag on pppoe.

Yes it's fine if you know how to configure. If your firewall have licensed you may contact them to remote help you configure as well.

You may use Anime400 sfp+ stick if it's supported after he check all your infra. Most importantly is ONU, he will check that and let u know.

Maxis offer me rm109 300mbps 😔

Last time, 2016, I able to use unifi and maxis on single Alcatel ONU, port 1 is unifi while port 2 is maxis. I terminate some time ago due maxis no free speed upgrade.

Until 2023 I try register maxis again on single house, they mentioned cannot had two fibre line on single house. In other word, only one household able to have one fibre line.
