Question,

TM coming to replace modem after upgrade to 500 plan, I am currently using Archer AX80 with old ZTE GPON ONT,

the new router coming is combo box, should I tell TM tech to put the new router in bridge mode? 

I read it helps performance to utilise the more powerful router instead of double router through Unifi

If you ok with current setup, just tell installer no do anything, you keep new combo box

Or like me i tell set as bridge mode, so still use back my router

all from tm unifi router almost crappy one
no more tp link and huawei
they give fibrehome and dlink depand you cannot choose request router
i think possible tm give fibrehome router that almost crappy low spec can't handle speed

Should they be changing the ONT unit too?

I’m currently using huawei echolife hg8240h5. Is this very dated and old ? Or still useabl?

Is the ZTE ONU worth to keep or too outdated?

Will they upgrade my ONU and Router foc too ?

and i so confuse,cs told me i have need to reject from maxis fiber first,otherwise cannot get the offer rm90 from unifi??

Previously my plan was 500mbps(rm49) +ultimatetv(rm60) +600min calls(rm20), total rm129.
I went to TM point to request for the 500mbps@rm90 plan but was rejected, instead i am allowed to cancel the 600min calls but not the ultimateTV.
NOW I am paying rm109.

this is new Stay With Unifi plan? RM90 is cheap. Im paying RM119 SWU3.0

The agent on the call will clearly mention that:
- Everything in your existing package will stay, including 500mbps, 600 minutes free call
- New 24 months contract will start on the day the rm90 package activated
- Package will activate within 1 week from the call
- Everything in your existing package will stay even after the new contract period ends, including the new price
- You will get Disney+ Hotstar account and password access for 12 months. After 12 months, it will automatically terminate if you don't renew it. There is no automatic renewal. No need credit card info too.
- You cannot downgrade or terminate within contract period, otherwise penalty will impose
- You can upgrade or add add-on options at anytime, no penalty for upgrade

if your ONU and router is old enough they will give new , for me upgrade from swu 3.0 (2023) no new devices provided.

How long does it take to receive the Disney credentials? Will it be emailed or need to open livechat?

finally received call today for SWU 5.0 after online termination request on 6/6   

Hi, mind to share if the whole process can be done through online/call?

Cause the unifi is under my father's name, and at his old age he isn't that tech savvy to through these complicated terms. If possible to be done with just a call I'll take it.

Else need to try luck visit TMpoint together.

download disney hotstar in google apps store , key in ur hp number same as unifi account , get otp and login

If ur father never register myunifi app or selfcare, 1st thing to do is register the app using ur father info such as IC & name the most important. For the email & phone u can use ur own. Once done u can proceed with termination trick. When they call u, just answer & act as ur father (not behalf of). Once everything successfully, bring ur father to tmpoint for ownership transfer.
