With 17 months left, you better just stay on and wait for SWU 6.0. Do not ever try to terminate, as they can also play back by imposing remaining months penalty which is a lost for you.

I dun plan to terminate but instead, wanna try upgrade to 500mbps with similar pricing in SWU 5.0

not to say gamble since termination come after they call you. So if you dont want to terminate, then mention to the representative that call you if they say no promo and need to pay penalty. For your case, I don't think they will offer you that SWU5.0 package since you still way early on your contract period. They will just offer you the normal package for normal customer.

For my case, I think it depend on the unifi person that call you, some may offer you but some will not since you are still in your contract period. But for me, I already subscribing unifi for more than 10 years. So probably will get if you are a longtime user of unifi.

im at least 10yrs with them, at least in Unifi . if include streamyx , it will be more than 15yrs...lol.. im waiting for their call

received call from TM 03-20217930 - 9/5 , 1140am

RM99 300Mbps , free 6 months bill , free 6 months disney hotstar.

my contract suppose till sept 2025, they allowed me to get the SWU 5.0 since i got no device contract .

Even confirmed he also got 300 to 500 jump on 2023.

Is Unifi quietly roll out another free upgrade?

Why every night 7pm onwards the latency will be so high, morning to afternoon dont have this problem... cant even play games in peace, keep kicking me out due to high latency ffs

i think im gonna switch to time end of this year, had enough of this latency issue

I'm on the same package as that guy too—500 Mbps for RM129, and the contract has ended in March.

If I do not receive the free speed upgrade, I will just switch to TNB Allo's 1Gbps plan for only RM139, which also offers much better latency and routing compared to Unifi.

Yeah, shit sucks. Factor in their submissive compliance with the DNS directive and I'm kicking myself every other day for upgrading to 1Gb, thereby locking me into a 24-month contract. High latency in games, stuttering livestreams, the need for VPNs to browse parts of the internet. Not worth the RM289/month.

At this rate, I doubt any other ISP can be worse than tm. Just 1 year more to go... rolleyes.gif

So strange, I thought they'd have automated the process by now. Astro, for example, is so much more consistent.
