However, you need to change this from your router setting. We unable to remote change DNS from our side. May I know if you can access the router setting?" PRSXFENG liked this post

QUOTE(sadlyfalways @ Dec 13 2024, 07:26 PM) Any UNIFI people having issues with Netflix and unencrypted dns since the dns hijack in September? I dont know about nextdns. In September I had this Netflix tagging my home network as a vpn or proxy. Kept coming back everyday, I needed to reset and change ip of home network for it to work. I’m using maxis public ip fibre on tm infra with google dns I noticed this issue started when the government did the force dns switch. After revert same issue kept persist. I then set the deco to access point and put my asus as main router with encrypted nextdns dns. 3 months no issue and now I put back deco because asus was blocking google home devices and the issue has come back ?? I have no idea what is causing the issue, or if the nextdns tracker blocking prevented my ip from being tagged as vpn Any advice would be great please But TM certainly tweak something about their DNS settings. Previously, I setup Google DNS ipv4 only on DHCP, its working without any issues even on ipv6 website. One morning suddenly its no longer working. So now need to setup Google DNS ipv4 and ipv6 on WAN then only the Google DNS is working. Every now and then I will browse to https://browserleaks.com/dns to check whether the Google DNS stick or not |

QUOTE(emy_xvidia @ Dec 14 2024, 12:14 PM) I got 2Gbps from my old Turbo package 800Mbps back in 2018 (when it was last upgraded for free) after discussion with TM personnel at TM Point nearby of my place plus 3 months free. AFAIK, those who got these 2Gbps upgrade (from 800Mbps) are the ones who have been paying TM RM200+ bills and no less. 800Mbps turbo upgrade get 1Gbps while paying RM 200.35 monthly but why I didn’t get 2Gbps? Johor area |

QUOTE(emilyngsc @ Dec 14 2024, 04:11 PM) I'm not in your situation at all, my plan is RM129 per month and currently on 500 MBps (3 months free when I renewed this contract). But this is not TM offer one, is I chase by grabbing SWU when its available. Started on 30 MBps, Gobindh upped it to 300 (that time plan was 149), then when there was a promo to 139 which was very much talked about in this thread I grabbed. Then the next round of SWU go down to 129 I grab again. Not just loyally pay TM every month for years. |

Does your 129 includes ultimate tvpack@rm60 + 600mins call@rm20? I am also paying 129+6% with above package n recently auto upgraded to 500mbps-Pro but without 3 months free. But this is not TM offer one, is I chase by grabbing SWU when its available. Johor area RM200 and above just for the package excluding the 8% tax. You can try and go nego but I dont think they would entertain those paying below RM200 but wanting the 2Gbps free upgrade. They'd offer the standard 500Mbps (1Gbps free speed upgrade at RM150+ instead for bills below RM200.) I know some guys who got 800Mbps Turbo package last time were lucky that they managed to get the 800 Turbo upgrade while paying less than RM180 but these guys wont get the 2Gbps one as per the current SWU4.0. |

D-Link DPN-FX3060V WiFi has bug, by default k/v enabled by defaults, for me, disable it fix issue 5GHz from missing |

If I'm not mistaken, before the Free Speed Upgrade program started in October 2023.There were a few 800Mbps users in the Klang Valley who were randomly selected to get a speed upgrade to 2Gbps No any additional charges. Selected user with a monthly RM200/300 and above This post has been edited by aniq8676: Dec 14 2024, 10:27 PM |
