Therefor I now enjoy 500 Mbps at RM49 

Yeah, I was quite surprised. I upgraded from 100M to 300M and was given 500M upgrade.

With the ending of the 500M that means I have no FSU under SWU3.0.

My current package is UNIFI 300MBPS - STAYWITHUNIFI 3.0 (ULTIMATE+UPB).

my subscription has always been Unifi 100Mbps - Super Value YEP 2019, got the free speed upgrade to 300Mbps earlier this year but the subscription never changed

tried to chat online agent then for SWU package but ask me go TMpoint instead, after that suddenly got notification and the subscription name updated to Unifi Home 300Mbps - Pro Upgrade

Same.. I got mine on 17th November, within few days it change to Unifi Home 1Gbps - Pro Upgrade. Unlike my 300 to 500 Mbps free upgrade, took months for the name to change to 500 Mbps Pro Upgrade. Anybody from 800 Mbps get 2Gbps upgrade?

It is free upgrade that announce by our minister last year. So no contract renewed

I'm not in your situation at all, my plan is RM129 per month and currently on 500 MBps (3 months free when I renewed this contract).

But this is not TM offer one, is I chase by grabbing SWU when its available. Started on 30 MBps, Gobindh upped it to 300 (that time plan was 149), then when there was a promo to 139 which was very much talked about in this thread I grabbed. Then the next round of SWU go down to 129 I grab again. Not just loyally pay TM every month for years.

I just backed from TM Point Sungai Petani, TM Point offer me for RM159, 1Gbps + 6 months free. Thats all no free TV, laptop or whatso ever. Btw, modem need to change.

oo... never happened to me. not saying that wont necessarily happen but i obviously check the reviews before i purchase. also it's amazon, not aliexpress (though i've ordered from the later before without issue). but seeing as i got what i ordered, at least the seller i purchase was fine. i think it was the tplink own store on amazon. you can check there yourself and see the price vs shopee.

i think the warranty is the bigger issue if sourcing from US. so you are betting you don't have to claim warranty, or that if u do, you can hopefully claim from the local tplink though i'm not sure if they will make a fuss or not since u ordered from US region.

On 18/12/2024, I received a WhatsApp from Unifi Care stating my Unifi Home plan is eligible for a FREE upgrade to 1gbps. I filled out all the requested information, submitted the order, and received their confirmation email with a reference number. On 26/12/24, I received the same WhatsApp again and filled out the same form on the website. I received a new confirmation email with a different reference number this time. I waited till 2nd Jan, but no order was reflected in my Unifi portal nor did anyone from TM contact me. When I chatted with TM Unifi Customer Service, the agent informed me that none of the orders above were reflected. She further added that it also depends on the infrastructure in my area to support 1Gbps. She said she checked at that moment, and it shows I'm not eligible.    I was like, if not supported why did you send me the WhatsApp twice? She couldn't answer that and kept saying I should wait for the free upgrade.   So I decided to escalate it to MCMC to get it done

I went back to unifi and talk about the SWU.

They offer me,

300Mbps - RM119/Mth
500Mbps - RM139/Mth

6 months bill waver, however must subscribe RM39/Mth unifi mobile.

Should I agree? Or I can bargain for more.
Also, just some extras,
My place got TIME port. But Unifi never give me problems and service quite good. If i change to time, i dont know how stable is that in my condo.

that was SWU 3.0 i apply oct 2023 and activated 7 november 2023 speed bump 500Mbps

If UNIFI never give you a problem then stick to it
I'm also on 500mbps rm139 monthly UNIFI, but in my case i don't have to subscribe to UNIFI mobile
Just ask them you are not interested with the UNIFI mobile, plus just saying currently you have 2 providers in your mind, I'm sure they will follow whay you want, cuz they don't want to loose customers 🙂🔥
