This is part of the reason why there are many out there who counter this DNS issue on socmed with 'good lah they blocked people from consuming prawn,' or the earlier '3rd party DNS = golongan penjenayah.'
So if the one who ordered this in TM knew, they went into this fully believing they were correct. They probably still do believe they are correct in going that far, just that it might not have been worth the damage done.
