None, MCMC not enforce RFC 6177, thus I give up, just don't use IPv6

Sorry just clarify for lay man like me:
Currently TM implementation of IPV6 is susceptible for security exploit and just by enabling IPV6 dual stack together with IPV4 the user network is vulnerable to such attack thus best way we can do is disable IPV6 until TM somehow come out with proper implementation of ipv6?

weird.. after the dns redirection saga, i cannot use quad9 dns
on stubby/unbound/pihole/adguardhome/dnscrypt-proxy

all dig return servfail. other than quad9 are fine.
*
Damn unifi I thought it was just my router/phone issue bangwall.gif
I had similar experience recently too
I set up quad9 DoT on android systemwide and found that my apps typically load slower like by alot
However using quad9 doh on chrome browser there was no issue at all. Comparing firefox using only DoT quad9 versus the chrome with Quad9 Doh(1-2 seconds load time to load website after google search).
Temporarily switched to controld for now.
well if i switch to digi mobile data the sluggishness disappear when using quad9 dot also rclxub.gif
i understand that dot has extra overhead than doh but current dot with quad9 is extra sluggish than before the fiasco

Post your full IPv4 address here. Since you are behind CGNAT, it is safe to post it. I suspect AS36692 egress your traffic via some other path that goes around the world.

I'm starting to suspect the software used by TM for BGP optimization fucked up. Or they use it wrongly.

Now it's clear to me in order to fully utilize all their capacity, they distribute traffic equally to HK, SG, UK and MyIX.

Depending on where your traffic gets distributed, latency will go through the roof
*
I think this only happens after the 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8 dns hijack
maybe someone screw up the configuration and now does not know how to revert

And for others don't care about privacy issues, get yourself a WARP+ or ZeroTrust for free.
(unsure how to setup ZeroTrust, as I saw reddit mention about ZeroTrust "MIGHT" get high priority as WARP+, so just sharing it out for others to test about it la, me lazy person. ;P
Should give better privacy, because it target business customer, still, if you have time to set it up.)

So far TM do nothing to the certain IP range that based on WARP, it is still routing to KUL, so you can going via the routing of CloudFlare and enjoy full speed for free.
(And nope, tested, it is dedicated for WARP only, not allowed to use as :80 or :443)

This might shared your phone number out by telegram, so be aware if you gonna generating key for yourself, so far I generated once, no stranger sharing the same key/account with me, and yes, faster than regular WARP, full speed for oversea slow long comic site. wink.gif

Yes, no privacy.

Tbh the concern is actually more than that if you are using key from those telegram group
https://broadband.forum/threads/getting-unl...ee-tier.215678/
Indian people ald found loophole to generate warp+ key using zero trust key
and the main point of zerotrust is for organization to tunnel back to certain server within the internal network.
Piece this together. the telegram owner might be creating 50 free zero trust user id using one credit card credential then
then use them to generate their so called warp+ child key.via
https://github.com/rany2/warp.sh
There is possibility that if they want they can legally monitor and decrypt traffic of those using the keys using cloudflare zero trust dashboard.
Well they might not be so free or desperate yet but I think the possibility of backdoor is there
So far that's what I piece through when research about warp+ free key and zero trust yesterday as TM annoy the hell out of me too.
Do correct me if there is anything wrong

TLDR: if u want better free vpn than free warp maybe go get ur own zero trust or just use proton. I would warn again using the free WARP+ key from telegram. Dunwan to be mitm by people abusing cloudflare zero trust

installed new unifi 100 mbps.

came with the 2 in 1 fiberhome onu (this is what they gave me in 2025). this the installer help set to bridge. i tested with my pfsense router, it successfully worked (in case anyone is wondering about this).

installer test first if internet work. once done, they will set to bridge (upon request. explain you want to use own router, they will know what you mean). Then connect ethernet from router wan port, to the fiberhome onu port 1.

Change your pfsense ppoe credentials, save. then in pfsense go to status > interfaces, reconnect. Should work. If not then check you typed credentials correctly.

for wifi i use my own tplink eap-773 which is way better.

time is also offered here, but i saw the unifi was cheaper and didn't care to pay for more. hope i did not make a mistake? One other advantage time has is uploads which is better. But i don't setup remote access to require remote access to self hosted homelab or network, so i hardly need that tbh. But if you do, then yeah, time would be the obvious choice (cause tmnut skimps on upload speed)

the 300 mbps doesn't cost that much more, but i don't download much these days so... even netflix 4k only need 20 mbps or so.
considered this. though i may be cheap, i too have my bottomline. Fiber better than 5g for latency for home broadband. So i rather pay a bit more  smile.gif
*
Thanks for sharing on the new install. Even for the entry plan, TM is switching to 2in1 onu already means they have really got the means to go dystopian if they really want to(controlling the router part block some sites deemed unfit to mass consumption). I am not saying they will do it certainly but after the dns fiasco the chances would be higher. However, it is good that the installer still be willing to setup bridging.

Well they have different routing, some forummers say TIME routing is better for many part of the world except China.

Curious - how good/bad is Unifi mobile, compared to other telcos CelcomDigi Maxis?

Is it so bad to port in, even without contract?
*
Coverage is based on your usage location. For example, my house iniside no line at for unifi at all but digi and maxis has no issues.
If you are the one doing sales had to go from places to places, tbh the 4g coverage is not comprehensive like the big 2 mentioned earlier.
But if you are using at your home for elderly or seldom go new places, then checking out the coverage at ur intended usage point would be sufficient.
If it is good then go for it.
Source; myself I had a bebas prepaid which I kept active for the number in spare phone.

got SWU 5.0 offer for my 100mbps

RM89 Rebate RM10 + Free 6 Months Subscription
Free Disney Basic 12 Months
Also arranged installer to change modem tomorrow.

Was going to sign up Maxis 100mbps RM89 decide to stick with unifi.
*
RM89 rebate Rm 10 meaning the price is RM79?
Or RM 99 rebate RM10 to become RM89 permanently.
If it s RM 89 + 6 months free, it is same as SWU 4.0
just extra Disney Basic 1 years.
If it is RM79 then quite good after my parents house contract end can try apply
